The Maidstone violin has numerous scratches and damages to the edges, the 1/4 size violin is really rather nice and appears to be in good condition. The two bows are in need of re-hair in a bow box.

AN EARLY 20TH CENTURY FRENCH CONSOLE TABLEWith serpentine marble top over a wrought iron base 84cm wide; 70cm high; 33.5cm deepThe marble is 33.5cm deep and the mirror plate top is 32cm deep Overall in good condition. The cipollino marble top with a few scuffs and scratches, and the odd fissure. The gilding to the frame is slightly chipped in areas and some oxidisation in places. There is a mirror glass plate which fits neatly into the lip of the frame more securely, and is possibly original to the console frame. The mirror plate with numerous scuffs, scratches and patches of oxidisation. The marble top rests on the top edges of the lip and slightly overhangs the edge; this is probably an association. It should be possible to remove the top from the base.The image gives a good indication as to the weathered surface of the table.
A GEORGE III RECTANGULAR INLAID MAHOGANY SERVNG TABLEOn tapering square supports, 180cm wide; 74cm highCondition report: Overall structurally solid.As a serving table the back edge and frieze are unfinished.The legs have probably been reduced height. The top has been refinished, later polished and varnished. There is a very slight warp to the top. The front left leg with a dented area to the outer edge. Various old scuffs, scratches (some more recent to the top ) and marks commensurate with age and use.

In very good order and ready to use. The triple reeded top sections have been cleaned and polished. Various old scuffs, dents and old marks beneath, which have been polished over. Leaves are supported and sturdy with later rails to the underside.The one plinth to the top of one pedestal with old worm.

General wear and scuffs to the top and legs overall. Scratches and a few marks. Dryness to the legs, especially to the feet and top, probably having been in storage for sometime. Some minor cracks, veneer chips and some losses in areas. Very light surface crackelure in some areas. Numerous scratches and scuffs, some more recent. Notably a veneer loss to the central section and further loose torn area to the side. See additional images on www.bellmans.co.ukThe legs do not appear to have been broken and repaired. Some variation in colour between the leaves, with the central section more faded. The pedestals are in good condition, they are very dusty. There is some loss of veneer to the top, it will need a complete repolish.
A 19TH CENTURY ANGLO-INDIAN CEYLONESE, COROMANDEL BANDED, SATINWOOD SOFA TABLEOn spiral fluted column and four downswept supports 102cm wide; 72cm highCondition report: Overall in good condition. Signs of wear, including small nicks and chips, minor crackling to the timber surface and other general minor shrinkage and movement of timbers, commensurate with age. Some small losses, notably a small missing section to the edge of the coromandel moulding where the drop-leaf hinges. The same area on the other side has been repaired. Inevitable minor chips to the edges and to the feet. Some repair work to tips of feet.The drop leaves are slightly less sun faded. The handles to the drawers and faux drawers are mother of pearl inlaid horn bun handles.

There may be one or two tiny inclusions to the diamonds.

Sapphire and diamond ring: Overall good condition, diamonds look to be fairly clear.Spray ring: Good condition, ring size M Red gem ring: A bit of wear to the table facet edges of the principle red gem. The shank has been sized upwards in the past. Hallmark is clear.

A PAIR OF SWEDISH EMBOSSED BRASS CANDLESTICKSProbably 18th CenturyWith foliate decoration, octagonal drip-pans and bases, later mounted on oak bases and adapted into table lamps, 29cm high Condtion report: Some wear and tear commensurate with use and age, notably the drip pans have been soldered on and one with numerous small holes to the embossed work, edging loose and bent. Other edges worn. Wear to the wriggle work decoration and details. The shafts are seamed. Tarnishing, dirt and dust. Secured onto bases and drilled to the base of the shaft for electrical wiring, which goes up through the twisted shaft. The wiring will need to be PAT tested prior to use.
