Paris' the reverse of the mirror with silver plated panel after A. Schoenewerk depicting a nymph and cupid beside a plinth, the candleholder frame cast as prunus blossom branches, height 19cm (Condition report: wear to the gilding and wear to the plating but otherwise in good condition overall)
A LATE 19TH CENTURY MEISSEN FIGURAL AND FLORAL ENCRUSTED CENTREPIECE ADAPTED TO A TABLE LAMP, the later electric lamp fitting covering the top which is probably missing a further section, the shaped triangular column encrusted and hand painted with sprays of flowers, the lower section fitted with three metal rods to take the three candle branches or three comports above three putti which are modelled as seated on the three scrolling legs, underglaze blue crossed sword mark to the underside, comes with a worn fabric shade, height of centrepiece excluding electric fitting 51cm, including the fitting 75.5cm (Condition report: a number of sizeable chips below the lamp fitting, floral encrusting is damaged throughout, the putti holding the basket of fish is missing a section of arm and damage to the basket handle and the garland in his hair, all three comport plates are in good condition with some losses to the encrusting, one candle branch has a section missing to the foliate collar, another branch as a crack where it would sit on the metal rod and has been taped, losses to the encrusting, the whole would benefit from a good clean, especially the candle branches)
