An Arts & Crafts style oak trefoil table, 39 cm wide Condition report Report by GH Top split down the middle, and also slightly loose. Occasional old woodworm holes around the machined part at the edge of the top. Various other woodworm holes around the piece. Structurally reasonably solid. Various chips, scratches and gouges commensurate with use and age. Possibly incorporates some later parts. The pyramid in the centre of the stretcher has its top chipped off. Some of the joints are parting slightly, and some of the decoration is possibly later. All the woodworm seems to be past damage rather than live. Bears a Robert Love label to underneath dated 2.6.98, and numbered 7 of Folio 107.
An Ercol elm sideboard, 128 cm wide, and an Ercol elm coffee table (2) Condition report Report by GH The coffee table is generally in good condition commensurate with age, with strong joints and no obvious major damages or repair. Some very light fading to the top and perhaps a little loss to varnish from use. Occasional dents, scratches and marks to wood. The sideboard is in similar condition with occasional small amounts of losses to varnish, chips, scratches and marks from use. All four castors present and no signs of any major damage or repair. Some scuffing to wood around the bottom. Overall both pieces are in good condition commensurate with some age and use.
An Edwardian silver miniature doll's house tea service, comprising a kettle on a stand with burner, a teapot, a milk jug, a sugar bowl, and a tray, Levi & Salaman, Birmingham 1905, a similar four piece set, a novelty miniature grenade table lighter, and other similar items (qty)
A centre table, the top veneered in burr walnut and inlaid figures, mythical beasts and foliage, on a carved base, 122 cm diameter See illustration Condition report Report by GH This is a modern reproduction piece, probably made in the last 40 or so years. Condition is generally good with some sun fading to the top and some marks and stains (some possibly water staining). Veneer is in generally good condition with some cracking but no major damage or lifting, and no evidence of any restoration. Some of the veneer is scratched and there are a few small dents commensurate with use. The base is generally in good condition with occasional scratches and marks around the legs from footwear. There is also some cracking particularly around where the legs meet the column and some small areas that have possibly been re-glued at some point. Both pins for connecting the top to the bottom are present. Overall in generally in good used condition with no major damages or repairs. The base appears to be a correct match to the top and this is made more likely by the fact that it is a reproduction piece and neither the top nor the legs show particularly great age.
