A pair of late 19th century Continental kingwood floral marquetry three tier stands. Width 38.5 cm. CONDITION REPORT: Both tables would probably have had a brass gallery to the top tier. There are small pin holes indicating where this would have been attached. One finial is missing its metal top. The same table has one small veneer loss to the top tier around one of the four mentioned pin holes. The remaining tiers are in good condition. The legs are all in good order with no repairs. There are minor scratches to the top surface but no real issues. The second table has one small similar veneer loss around one of the pin holes on the top tier. The remaining tiers are in good condition. There are no problems with the legs. The tables are a true pair. The marquetry decoration to the top is identical on both tables and the dimensions are exactly the same.
A 19th century Dutch marquetry Pembroke table, with frieze drawer and raised on legs of tapering square section. CONDITION REPORT: The table is in generally good condition. The top is flat. The right hand flap is not warped. The left hand flap is a little warped at the front left corner which is evident with the flap elevated. Looking very closely at the top left flap the 1 inch section of timber that runs parallel to the rule joint and which butts up to the boxwood strung marquetry surround panel looks to be a slightly different colour. It is almost impossible to see the join and the repair must have been done a long time ago. The herringbone banding in this area is also a slightly different colour. The marquetry is in generally good condition with no significant losses or lifting. There are minor nibbles to the left and right corners of the drawer front. All four legs have been wooden pegged at the top and the table is structurally very sound. There are no repairs or restoration to the legs other than the pegs referred to. The colour of the table is generally good.

The table is structurally solid with very little movement on the base. The centre column is in good order. The bottom circular base has numerous sections of rosewood veneering missing around the edge. The feet are original and all in good order although a little scuffed. The castors are later replacements.

A pair of French porcelain figurines, each of a female figure sat at a table, polychrome. Height 15 cm (see illustration). CONDITION REPORT: The figure of the lady with bird cage has losses to the fine pierced porcelain work on the bonnet. There is also crazing to the glazing on the base. There are also some small loses to the fine pierced porcelain at the bottom of the dress but again these seem minor. We do not think there is any restoration to this figure but as it is so intricate it is very difficult to tell. The second figure seems to be in generally good order. Again there are some minor losses to the pierced porcelain at the bottom of the dress and a small scuff to the front edge of the protruding foot. The blue cup on the table top may possibly have been restored as it is a little soft to touch, if it has been then the restoration is professional.
