Interesting and Substantial Archive of Admiral Sir Robert John Predergast 1864-1946. A Captain at the age of 24, Predergast made rapid progress through the Royal Navy becoming Rear Admiral Scapa in 1915. The three photograph and scrap Albums provide interesting details of his service and his ships up to 1910 as well considerable detail of his Anglo Irish, society wedding to Miss Netta Mackenzie ( held St Margarets Church Westminster in 1905.) The associated items include the Wedding table linen! He became ADC to George V and there is an original photograph of the King visiting him in retirement at Meads in Eastbourne. Large Box,

An Art Nouveau pewter table centre bowl with figural decoration and Ruskin style turquoise inset medallions, unmarked 35 cm x 57 cm x 13 cm CONDITION REPORTS Glass bowl with chip to rim of one end and with scratching throughout conducive with age and use. The girl's hair to one end has broken at the rim and appears to have damage to the other end girl's hair but towards the centre section. The two oval medallions appear different in colour to the circular medallions which may or may not be part of the original design. Overall the piece has wear and tear, surface scratching, etc conducive with age and use. See images for further detail.
