A gilt-bronze cast openwork discoid harness mount with heavy mercury gilding to the upper surface; central boss and openwork design of foliage within a dentilled border with rings of circular holes; three attachment lugs to the reverse; Baltic workmanship. 47 grams, 57mm (2 1/4"). Property of a German collector; acquired in the 1990s. Cf. pendant plaque in Sedov, B.B. Finno-Ugri i Balti v Epokhi Srednevekovija, Moscow, 1987, table LXXXII item 17. [No Reserve] Fine condition.

An unusual late Victorian oak smoker's table top compendium modelled as a cart with four brass wheels, with hinged top enclosing tobacco compartments, above base drawer with open pipe rack to front, with applied plaque inscribed "Presented to Mr JF Huntbach by the employees of M Huntbach & Co Hanley as a token of esteem and to commemorate his 21st birthday August 20th 1897", length 39cm, height 27.5cm. CONDITION REPORT: Rubbing scratches and dents to top. The metal gallery is crimped and bent (see additional photo). Tarnish to wheels. Hinge intact. Few areas of staining. Overall wear commensurate with age. No key.

CONDITION REPORT: Dressing table set: several but very minor nibbles to the edges commensurate with age. Wear to the base of the trays (scratches and nibbles).
