A set of four Victorian silver table salts, modelled in the form of oval coopered dairy-pails, with twin handles (Birmingham 1868), Thomas Tongue, all at approximately 6ozs, 6cm across handlesGeneral overall condition quite good, all have surface scratching and minor wear, some denting to bases, interiors are badly tarnished. Handles on three salts are slightly bent but secure, one handle on the other salt is broken on one lower corner where it joins body, other corner is cracked but presently connected. Marks slightly rubbed.
