A GEORGE IV AMBOYNA CENTRE TABLE the top broadly crossbanded in calamander, on turned legs with stiff leaf capping, the legs joined by a star stretcher, 52ins. (132cms.) dia. Provenance: Formerly the property of the Late Mrs N.A.J. Moulton-Barrett (sold by order of the beneficiary). A similar table is recorded as being at Stratfield Saye, Hampshire, seat of the Duke of Wellington. See photograph of the Drawing Room in 1948.
