E DRAGSTED - a mid-century Danish silver plated stylised modernist 5-section table centre taper stick candle holder, pentagonal form with bulb-shaped holders, height 3cm Very good original condition, no damage or repair, one small silver blemish on the inner edge of one bulb, the bases of the holders are very slightly worn and scratched, marks clear, stamped SILVER PLATE.

Subscribers, all men and mostly military figures, also include Joseph Banks, Charles Hutton (mathematician) and brothers Thomas and Paul Sandby, the latter 'First Drawing-Master to the Royal Military Academy.'
