A Victorian Silver Soup-Ladle and Set of Eight Silver Table-Spoons, by John James Whiting, London, 1844, single struck Albert pattern, engraved with a crest, the soup-ladle 33.5cm long, 28oz (9) . The marks are generally clear. There is overall surface scratching and wear, consistent with age and use. The wear is noticeable as a softening to the engraving, particularly on the table-spoons. There is some pitting and bruising to the bowl of the soup-ladle.
An Edward VII Silver Dressing-Table Mirror, by Henry Matthews, Birmingham, 1901, oblong, the sides stamped with foliage and flowers, the top with vacant cartouche, with velvet covered easel back and bevelled mirror plate, 51.5cm high . Marked on top left of bottom section. The marks have some wear but are still legible. There are some overall surface scratches and wear, consistent with age and use. The wear is noticeable as a loss to the high points in areas. The velvet on the back is work and the easel is defective. Would benefit from a clean.
A Dunhill Silver Plate Charleston Giant Table-Lighter with Watch, by Dunhill, 1986, Number 14 From a Limited Edition of 200, oblong and with wavy engine turned decoration, the front set with a clock, the dial signed Dunhill, the top with lighter mechanism, in fitted gilt-tooled black leather case, with certificate numbered 14/200 with facsimile signature of Richard Dunhill, booklet and with three packs of nine lighter flints, the lighter 13.5cm high the case 17cm high. Stamped Dunhill Made in England underneath and numbered 14/200. There is some scratching underneath and some marks on the lighter overall. The lighter is sparking properly not not lighting, possibly due to no lighter fluid. The clock is not functioning and may require a new battery. With two red pack of flints and one blue pack of flints. There are some scuffs to the case.

Erskine Nichol RSA, ARA (1825-1904) Scottish ''The Physic'' Signed and dated 1868, oil on canvas, 68cm by 55.5cm See illustration . Images of frame and verso will be uploaded in due course.Following a clean the surface has sustained a degree of loss to the original integrity and the paint is rather thin in places. The shadowing and darker pigments in the upper left hand corner have been strengthened, as have a good amount of corresponding tones, shadows and pigment throughout the work. i.e. the front of the table in the lower right hand corner and lower edge has been largely strengthened or over painted as have a good degree of the seat of the chair, the back thereof and many of the shadows around the face, jacket, shirt, pile of manuscripts, elements of the jug, etc. there is a effectively horizontal line of retouching running from his inner left hand side lapel across the gentleman’s shoulder and is approx.. 4cm in length, possibly to disguise an old damage or mild tear? Not evidence of this to reverse. Some surface dirt and discoloured varnish. Odd superficial surface scratch towards lower right hand corner, further superficial vertical scratch above signature approx.. 1cm in length. Very fine stable craquelure in places. Overall stable condition.

A George IV Mahogany Sofa Table, early 19th century, the rectangular hinged top above two real and opposing dummy drawers, on lyre end supports and sabre legs with brass capped feet and castors, 84cm by 71cm by 72cm. Good quality timber, the top with numerous scratches/ ring marks. Cock beading on drawers some losses/ faults. Two of the capped feet repaired to vert good standard. (See images)

A Late 19th Century Oak Gaming Table, with removable cover, the verso with two gaming boards above a green baize playing surface, the hinged leaves and sliding cover to remove a roulette wheel, with three mahogany compartments enclosing turned wooden chess pieces, dominos and stained bone gaming tokens, on square fluted legs with brass capped toes and castors, 89cm by 50cm by 77cm. Overall good condition however the top has split/ repair and poor colour compared to the table. One drawer has split with handle missing. General scratches to roulette wheel. Later screw/ small repair to the base to one of the legs.

A George III Mahogany Striking Table Clock, signed Natt Style, London circa 1760, mahogany and parcel gilt decorated case with an inverted bell top pediment and carrying handle, glass side panels, 7-inch arch brass dial, matted dial centre with a mock pendulum and date apertures and signed on a plaque, arch with strike/silent selection, twin fusee movement with a verge escapement and rack striking on a bell, movement backplate with floral and scroll engraving, 50cm high over handle see illustration 02.10.20 Parcel gilt surfaces are rubbed in parts, later silks behind the glass side panels, back door with some small veneers missing and the two top corner frets are damaged, inside back door with two small pieces of wood missing, inside of the case back with two small vacant holes next to the movement brackets, movement needs cleaning, movement in going order and striking.
