A canteen containing a matched Wm Hutton & Sons Ltd set of cutlery, a Turner & Co. ivory handled carving set with knives and a matched set of pastry knives and forks, in a fitted oak case with hinged lid, inset brass carry handles, blank brass cartouche, with lift out tray containing ninety pieces, viz. table knives (12), table forks (12) cheese knives (6) pastry forks (6) dessert forks (6), dessert knives (6), tea spoons (6), table spoons (6), tea spoons (6), egg spoons (6) fish knives and forks (12), beef and game carvers and steel (5), soup ladle (1).

A collection of late 1890's Marly pattern flatware by Christofle with heraldic crest and monogram "W" comprising six table forks, six dessert forks, five dessert spoons, four table spoons together with twelve 1860's table forks, maker P de Ruolz (Elkington's French contemporary, the firm later absorbed by Christofle) with heraldic crest.(33)

A set of eight linen damask napkins woven with a Greek Key design stamped with "Birse Castle" and "C" beneath a Viscount's coronet. 1892 inventory stamp. 53cm x 50cm (Dunecht House was gifted by Lord Cowdray to his Annie. The Forest of Birse Estate was one of many subsequently purchased to join Dunecht.) Together with a set of sixteen linen damask napkins woven with a border frieze and central roundel and embroidered with an "O". 60cm x 60cm. 1892 inventory stamp. (24)
