A George III mahogany multi-section dining table, having D-shaped ends and six extra leaves/support sections, raised on square tapered legs terminating on spade feet, to seat twelve, circa 1780, approx 15ft fully extended. This table was originally bought at Frank Marshalls Auctioneers approximately ten years ago by the current vendor and had at that point come in for sale from a large house near Knutsford where it was believed to have been housed since new, the family had moved overseas to France.
