A George IV rosewood work table, of rectangular octagonal form, lid exterior with a double row frame of brass inlay of conforming shape separated by two petal form segments to cut corners, the interior fitted with large central reserve flanked by two double cavities, stylised gilt furnishing to corners of body with ring handles on roundel backplates to sides, on turned column with block lower section decorated with gilt furnishings, four splayed supports with brass inlay bearing brass lion paws and casters joined concaved rectangular central block, 18 x 13in. (45.75 x 33cm.), 28½in. (72.5cm.) high.

Channel Islands Occupation Interest. A rare and important collection of wood carvings, crafted by a member of the German occupying forces in Guernsey during WWII. Recently discovered in the loft of their parents' house by the vendor, who was previously unaware of the collection's existence. A rare carved mahogany and oak box, made by a member of the German Occupying Forces in Guernsey during WWII, rectangular form, the lid carved to the left with a motto, 'Woijch (?) Meine Sorgen Hatte', the right side of the hinged lid carved with a scene of rustic fencing, a table and a bell in a garden, the interior of the lid chequer carved, most of the squares carved into letters, reading 'Kriegsweihnacht 1944' (Christmas 1944) and with a list of twenty German surnames beneath (probably of fellow troops), the exterior well carved with local scenes including two local houses, a watchtower and a coastal scene with fortifications to the back panel, on chamfered feet, 8 x 5¼in. (20.25 x 13.25cm.), 4½in. (11.5cm.) high.

A 19th century oval French kingwood & marquetry occasional table, the top edged with an arcaded, pierced brass gallery over a frieze with a pine lined drawer to one end, over square tapered legs with brass edging and capped toes enclosing the lower tier with quartered veneers crossbanded with rosewood, 19¾ x 13¾in. (50 x 35cm.), 26¼in. (66.75cm.) high, requires restoration.

(57 x 40.5cm.), 29½in. (75cm.) high.

A matched pair of Chinese hongmu small square tables, 18th / 19th century, the cleated tops over a plain frieze, on square supports with inturned feet, united by shaped peripheral stretchers, 16in. (40.5cm.) square, 20in. (51cm.) high. (2)* Condition: Good original colour to both tables. Faults as follows: - Table one: A few old spirit stains to top, small old chip to edge of centre panel and 1.5in. filled crack to centre. Let-in repair to top of one leg. A few wax filled chips to one corner of top. Crack and wax fill to one lower leg. Small chips and splits to bottom of feet. Small repair section to back of one stretcher. - Table two: A few old wax filled holes and cracks to wood in places. Larger wax fill to back of one stretcher and to splits on the inside of one leg. Let-in repair section to top inside of one leg. Top a little loose on this table.

A good quality George IV ebony inlaid mahogany card table, the kingwood cross banded, D-shaped top swivelling to open, over an ebony inlaid fiddleback mahogany frieze with central raised satinwood and ebony banded label, raised on twin lyre supports with turned ebony mounts, over an incuse ebony inlaid platform, raised on ebony faux-fluted swept supports with turned ebony mounts and brass ball feet, 36 x 17¾in. (91.5 x 45cm.) high.

A small Edwardian mahogany Pembroke table, the satinwood banded dropflap oval top over a single satinwood banded bowfront drawer, with gilt brass handles, raised on slender tapered reeded supports united by a convex boxwood strung x-stretcher centred by a gadroon carved bun finial, on brass casters, 19½ x 18¾in. (49.5 x 47.5cm.), 28¾in. (73cm.) high.

A Chinese carved hardwood low table with inset marble top, late 19th century, the serpentine circular top with beaded border and inset marble, over a pierced foliate frieze, raised on four mask and foliate carved cabriole style supports, on ball and paw feet, united by an x-stretcher, 16in. (40.5cm.) diameter, 18½in. (47cm.) high.* Condition: Good colour and patina overall. Crack across centre of marble - only visible under close inspection. Chip to mask at top of one leg. Large split and chip to top of one leg. Smaller chip to top of another leg. Old chip to two feet.  One section of the pierced frieze has a split at one end.

Two Chinese carved hardwood low tables, late 19th century, one with scalloped bead work edge with pink variegated marble inset encompassed by inlaid mother of pearl prunus branch border, over a pierced frieze with floral mother of pearl decoration, on four cabriole supports with fierce mask carving to knees above ball and claw feet, united by concave stretchers; the second of conforming design and size but without mother of pearl inlay, both 18in. (45.75cm.) high, 21in. (53.5cm.) diameter. (2)* Condition: - MOP inlaid table: Several cracks to marble and a few chipped areas where cracks cross. Two minor losses to MOP inlay to top border. Approx. 11 MOP petals missing from flowers and centre of most flowers missing. Two losses from large MOP lappets at top of frieze. Joints of stretcher loose. Chip to end of one stretcher at joint with leg. - Second table: Pale circular water stain from a vase or jardiniere to marble top. Small filled chip to edge of marble and small chip to wood at border of marble. Dark spirit stain to edge of top. Small split to one section of pierced frieze. Top very loose - several joints need gluing.

An Italian late 19th century carved walnut neo-Renaissance style library or centre table, the moulded top over a deep, foliate and shell meander carved frieze, centred by labels carved with classical scenes, raised on ornately carved scroll end supports with female classical figures, winged busts, putti, fruit, foliate and green man masks, united by an arcaded stretcher with ring turned Ionic columns, raised on four carved sea horse feet, 58¼ x 35in. (148 x 89cm.), 32in. (81¼in. ) high.

A Chinese carved hardwood table top display cabinet, early 20th century, in the form of a crescent moon, with side hinged bevelled glass door enclosing an interior with two 'hanging' shelves on pierced gilt brass brackets, a third similar shelf to the exterior with carved and pierced wooden brackets, conforming surmount, on a carved four-toed dragon support to a plinth base with incuse sides, 25¼in. (64cm.) high, 14½in. (37cm.) wide.* Condition: Two teeth missing from dragon's mouth. No other damage to carving. Glass original and in good condition. Some wear and scratching to polish to edges of base and some rubs and scratches to polish on edges elsewhere. Otherwise good condition overall.
