Vintage signed postcard photograph, an appealing image showing three French pioneer pilots seated outdoors drinking at a table at the Caudron Aviation School. In the distance an aircraft can be seen. Signed by Caudron in dark fountain pen ink to a light area at the head of the image and dated 29th September 1913. With a brief A.N.S. by Caudron, in French, to the verso. Together with Gaston Caudron (1882-1915) French Pioneer Aviator and Aircraft Designer. Vintage signed sepia postcard photograph, the image showing a Caudron biplane preparing for flight at the London Aerodrome, Hendon. Signed in dark fountain pen ink by Caudron to the verso and dated Hendon, 29th November 1912 in his hand. Black ink signature (`Charles Chaplin`) on a clear portion of the table plan to the verso of a printed 8vo list of guests for a Foyles Luncheon in honour of Noel Coward to mark the publication of his biography A Talent to Amuse by Sheridan Morley, at the Dorchester, Park Lane, London, 19th November 1969. Also signed in blue ink by Sheridan Morley and the Chairman of the luncheon, actress Moira Lister alongside Chaplin`s signature. Some very light age wear and extremely minor staining, otherwise VG
