Niels Otto Moller for JJ Moller, a set of six Model 75 teak dining chairs, with paper corn woven seats, labels to seat rail for Danish Furniture Makers Control and J J Moller, 76cm high, together with a teak extending dining table, with three central leaves, 74cm high x 115cm diameter, extended 265cm wide (7)Condition Report: Overall the chairs are firm and stable with no loose members.Seats in good condition and colour. When viewed to the underside there are supporting hooks for the weave and labels. There are some staples in the weave which are probably original to the manufacture.Surfaces of woodwork exhibit light wear and staining to the base of the legs and there is some light wear to the seat rails causing some whitening to the high points.Table has signs of wear to the top and the leaves have a slightly deeper colour that to the table top.

A fine Louis XVI style marble top mahogany gueridon table, in the manner of Henry Dasson, late 19th century, the circular top with a single secret frieze drawer below, decorated with ormolu trophy mounts and classical Atlante supports over a pierced endless knot under tier on wrythern tapering gilt feet. 78cm diameter x 77 cm overall height.The table is in good but dirty order with all mounts intact but some lifting slightly.The marble is in good but again very dirty order.The secret spring-loaded frieze drawer binds a little but eventually pops out when the button is pushed.NOTE:We have now managed to lift the marble that was hitherto thought to be fixed and it is apparent that this marble is a replacement, see the extra images.
Egisto Sarri (1837-1901) Italian, interior family scene, two children dancing before their mother, oil on canvas, signed to upper right corner, 51 cm x 66 cm glazed in a gilt Florentine frame.Private collection, deceased North London estateFrame appears to be original with glass covered canvas, eight repair patches evident to the back of the canvas. Retouching evident under the marble table, the lady's face and to patches on the wall in the background. These last patches are restored losses. Some discolouration around the dancer's leg and table next to them. Signed on the top left pillar.
A pair of 19th-century style gilt bronze candelabrum, each with four lights, on a vase shape stems with square bases mounted with masks, on moulded square feet, 40 cm highThe gilding is still rich and lustrous and structurally the candelabrum are sound if a little crooked. The branches are fitted to the front and sides but none to the rear as these would have been made to sit either side of a clock on a mantle piece. The components would be generic and this model would have also been produced as a four branch table candelabras and so a hole is seen on the reverse. See the extra images for clarification.
A Victorian circular walnut centre table with an inlaid Italian specimen marble top with a central Maltese cross emblem within a pellet and diamond border, supported by a turned and carved acanthus column, over a disk sub base with four boldly carved lion's paw feet. 67 cm diameter x 71 cm overall height.A private estateThe border of the top has a shrinkage crack and the table shows signs of woodworm in the underframe but not to the level of infestation or to cause structural issuesThe grey marble border has an old visible crackThe cross-grain veneered frieze has some veneer chips and small sections that are missing and this area also shows signs of shrinkage of the supporting frame but not to the level of weakening the integrity of the area.
An Edwardian "Sheraton Revival" satinwood classical pedestal of tapering square section with dentil mouldings painted on each face with a portrait study of Regency beauties within ribbon-tied borders, supported by bold gilt metal winged lion's paw feet. 21 cm cm square x 132 cm high. Together with an Edwardian oval satinwood bijouterie table and a Louis XV-style low table early 20th century.The column is cracked in the body, the low table is missing two gilt metal feet the bijouterie table has no key.
