A Chinese style black lacquered two drawer console table. With brass handles, squared legs terminating in shaped feet, H89cm x W130cm x D48cm Condition Report: Structurally sound. Some substantial cracks to the glaze along the top. Sections of the rims and edges are uneven suggesting it has previously suffered knocks and has been lacquered at a later date. Areas of losses to the lacquer, mostly around the edges and corners. The handles are unoriginal. Shows general wear consistent with age and usage, including scuffs and marks. Would benefit from a clean.
A 19th century Louis XV kingwood bijouterie. The frame mounted with gilt metal details and decorated with marquetry, the interior lined with pink velvet, raised on slender cabriole supports, H78cm x W61cm x D42cm Condition Report: The top glass panel is bevelled edge, the side ones are not. The glass has some scratches to the surface (mostly light and to the top). No obvious chips to the glass. The hinges have been replaced and it appears the interior has been later glued around the edges. Slightly wobbly. There appears to be no losses to the inlay or applied gilt decoration. Some small cracks to areas of the veneer however no significant losses. Some knocks, scratches and tarnishing to the table and metalwork consistent with age and usage. Overall in good condition.
