A George III mahogany semi-circular card table decorated with inlaid banding and stringing, the top opening to reveal a green baize lining, the frieze below with further crossbanding and inlaid oval foliate motifs, raised on square tapering legs and spade feet, 36in. x 29in. high.

A large and impressive early 20th Century presentation table centre piece, of pierced lozenge form decorated with foliated scrollwork and gadrooning on scrollwork legs and paw feet, bears inscription 'presented to Frederick Collins Esquire with an album an illuminated address as a mark of appreciation by a large number of his old friends associated with him during his work of railway and dock construction which extended over a period of 65 years, April 1913', also engraved a locomotive, the centre with vacant cartouche, rising to a platform on which rests a two handled half fluted and pierced fruit bowl with gadrooned border and scrollwork handle, flanked by two smaller matching dishes, total height 16 1/2in. (42cm), width 24 1/2in. (62cm), by Walker and Hall, Sheffield, 1911, 140oz. gross approx.
