A set of six mid 20th Century red painted wrigglework decorated framed dining chairs, with rush seats, on square supports united by stretchers (4 plus 2 carvers), together with a similarly decorated terracotta painted single drawer side table on square tapered legs, bearing label to underside of drawer "Rowley 140-2 Church Street Kensington W8" (Rowley Art Gallery), 82 cm wide x 42 cm deep x 70 cm high CONDITION REPORTS All are in a worn/barn stored/attic stored state with losses to the paintwork variously throughout. All the seats need restringing. One elbow chair has a large crack running on the right hand back support. The other has a small repair to the bottom back support rail. Also has splits to the wood on the left hand support and evidence of some woodworm and other small areas of repair throughout. One of the standard chairs has a large crack in the back right hand support/leg. Another standard chair has a chunk missing from the back right hand support, has a chunk missing from the top right hand corner. Table - piece has possibly been over painted, although not recently, as there is signs of red underneath the handles and on the drawer frontage. In need of a good clean. Has other knocks and bumps throughout. Some cracking and crazing to the paintwork. All pieces have wear and tear conducive with use and being barn/attic stored with splits, some small signs of worm to a couple of the chairs etc - see images for more details

A 19th Century Provincial oak side table, the plain top over a single drawer with brass knob handles raised on square tapered legs united by stretchers 103 cm wide x 54 cm deep x 69 cm high CONDITION REPORTS Whilst the whole piece appears basically sound, the top has several areas of discolouration and staining and split along the join of the two planks. Some damage, particularly to the left hand side along the top edge. Handles may or may not be original but would have had a back plate of circular form, not extant. There are signs of wear and tear conducive with age throughout and old woodworm damage bottom right leg - see images for further detail

Barleytwist table lamps only:The open pair have a label on the bottom saying "Knysna Stinkwood". One of them is very dirty / blackened to the top. Both have knocks and bumps / scratches to the varnish and the bases are slightly different. The other pair are oak and bear inscriptions to the bases suggesting the wood is from St. George's Chapel Windsor circa 1480. Slightly different shapes / designs - a matched pair. One has some insect damage, particularly to the top. Both have knocks and bumps throughout, particularly evident to the base. All lamps in the lot have had their wires cut and therefore need re-wiring. Otherwise general wear and tear conducive with age and use. See images for further detail.
A cast iron Britannia style garden table and two chairs CONDITION REPORTS cRust is coming through the paintwork. Paintwork has crazing and cracking. There are some minor areas of flaking, etc. throughout. One of the chairs has a crack running through a section of the seat into the outer edge and possibly another one on one of the decorative slats although this might be cracking within the paint. Another crack evident to the back of the seat. The same chair also appears to have a small loss to one of the external decorations not far from the cracked area. In need of a good clean. General wear and tear conducive with age and use. See images for further detail.
A mahogany console table in the French Empire taste, the brown agate top over a plain frieze, on caryatid bronze capped columns, united by an undertier, 156 cm wide x 52.3 cm deep x 92.5 cm high CONDITION REPORTS The agate top is relatively modern. The base appears to be a mid 20th Century copy. Has clearly been in store some time. Has heavy losses to the veneer on the base at the front corners. There are knocks and bumps etc to the edges as well as some heavier scratches throughout to the wood. The right hand pillar - the moulding is missing to the back of it. The right hand back pillar looks as though it has had a replacement section put on the back. It looks as though something has been removed from the back inside edge. Heavy wear and tear conducive with age and use to include some losses to the veneer and one section of gilding appears to have been replaced on the flower head scroll on the right hand corner top section. The top has some light surface scratching. Some roughness to the edge. There are some chips missing to various corners - see images for examples. A pair of Japanese porcelain butterfly and flower decorated table lamps of ginger jar form in the Kutani manner raised on turned wooden bases 31 cm high including fittings CONDITION REPORTS One of them - the wooden base is missing its feet. Both bases are faded. The varnish is going off a bit and there is rubbing. The bodies themselves - the vases are drilled and the tops are too obviously. In need of a good clean. Have some surface scratching and wear to the enamel. One has a large chip / dink to the central body. Has clearly been badly stored, bird poo etc on it and has heavy scratches. The base - several pieces of the moulding are missing. Very dusty and in need of a clean. The veneer is lifting in several places and off in others and the edges are in rough worn condition.

A 19th Century oak side table, the plank top with moulded edge over a single frieze drawer on square chamfered supports to block feet united by stretchers, 91 cm wide x 59.5 cm deep x 73 cm high CONDITION REPORTS Whilst over all the piece appears basically sound, the top has some signs of wear and tear conducive with age and use, some fading, discolouration, glasses marking etc. The drawer has a much later plywood base and appears to have had some alterations to the side rails. The base stretchers appear to be quite sharp at the edges suggesting that they may also be replacements. However, over all look is that of an 18th Century table. It appears to be later in construction, probably latter part of the 19th Century, but with alterations/repairs throughout.
