An unusual early 20th century French Art Deco brass table top clock in the form of a lizard, with associated Breveté S.G.D.G. square section alarm clock set with Arabic numerals and bearing the lion logo, 8.5 x 26cm (af).Condition Report: Areas of the lizard's body are slightly dull and stained, there is a small dint to the right hand side of the midriff, it does not sit flat on all four so it is slightly out of shape across the feet and as mentioned in the description, it is not the original drum clock, it is an associated brass cased alarm clock by Breveté which is missing its back cover and is slightly dented on one corner, presumably from the process of making it fit onto the lizard. It does appear to have been soldered into the lizard's tail but it is not the original clock for this design, however, overall rather pleasing.
