A George V silver table top cigarette dispenser of cylindrical form, the stepped top with greyhound head knob handle operating the three section carousel storage unit, each section with gilt washed interior, raised on a circular stepped foot, the body inscribed "Presented by The Greyhound Racing Association Limited White City Stadium", on an engine turned ground (by Adie Bros. Ltd., London 1937), 14.4 cm diameter x 15 cm high, approx. 30 oz CONDITION REPORTS Overall with some wear and scuffs, some rubbing to hallmarks, some minor knocks and dents, the greyhound finial appears to turn correctly opening the three compartments.

A late 19th Century French fruitwood farmhouse kitchen table, the rectangular plank and cleated end top over two end and a single frieze drawer on chamfered square block legs united by stretchers, 200 cm x 81 cm deep CONDITION REPORTS Overall with wear and scuffs, some splits and scratches, and it appears that some of the splits have been filled with a filler or wax material, some separating at joins, some old woodworm holes, some movement to joints.

Overall with general wear and some scuffs and scratches, some chips including to side of table top, overall condition appears to be reasonably good.
A 1970's Danish rosewood dining suite comprising extending D end dining table on turned legs and a set of six chairs to include two carvers, seat rail stamped "J Moller Models Furniture Makers Made in Denmark" (Certificate no's. 508834/02 & 508834/01) CONDITION REPORTS Overall with general wear and some scuffs and scratches, but generally condition appears reasonably good.
Pierre Bonnard, Couverture-chemise pour l’album d’estampes originales de la galerie vollard, 2e année, 1897. Lithographie. Très belle et rare épreuve sur japon fort remplié [580 x 452], portant la lettre lithographiée sur la première de couverture (« 2e année / album / d’estampes / originales / de / la galerie / Vollard / 6 rue Laffitte ») et un macaron ornemental sur la quatrième. Petites traces de frottement et salissures aux bords du feuillet. Voir les reproductions.Cette couverture n’est apparemment décrite à ce jour par aucun catalogue. Roger-Marx écrit : « Les albums des Peintres-Graveurs, à l’exemple de L’Estampe Originale, devaient, sur l’initiative d’Ambroise Vollard, contribuer très efficacement au renouveau de l’estampe, et en particulier de l’estampe en couleurs, par la publication de chefs-d’oeuvre comme la Partie de Campagne de Toulouse-Lautrec, Béatrice d’Odilon Redon, le Jardin des Tuileries et Jeux d’Enfants de Vuillard, Mère et Enfant de Renoir ; les Oies de Sisley, et nombre d’autres pièces par Guillaumin, Signac, Cross, Maurice Denis, etc. Deux albums ont paru, en 1896 et 1897, comprenant le premier 27 planches, le second 32, tirées chacune à 100 exemplaires. » (Claude Roger-Marx, Bonnard lithographe, Monte-Carlo, André Sauret éditeur, 1952, p. 77.). Les catalogues de Bouvet et Roger-Marx décrivent sous leur numéro 41 (et Johnson sous son numéro 14) une grande lithographie en couleurs de Bonnard (chat jouant avec une pelote sur une vaste table arrondie où sont déployées des estampes) comme étant la couverture de l’album d’estampes édité par Vollard pour 1897. Il faut bien plutôt penser que cette planche a dû être initialement pensée comme affiche de librairie destinée à annoncer la parution dudit album, ce que sa dimension (570 x 870 mm) corrobore. Notre couverture semble être à ce jour le seul exemplaire conservé de la véritable chemise ayant contenu les planches de l’album. Ce second album contenait notamment les deux planches de Bonnard décrites ci-après (Le Canotage et L’Enfant à la lampe) ainsi que La Petite blanchisseuse.
