A Victorian brass table oil lamp, in the style of Robert Adam, the oval reservoir set in a scrolled pierced stand supported by two scrolling legs, with ram`s head masks and goat feet, and two further legs with guilloche piercing and mask capitols encircling a torch finial on oval base with dentil border, and four acanthus feet, with green and etched glass shade of fluted outline, (converted to electricity), 68cm high overall.

IN THE MANNER OF GILLOWS A boldly carved oak pier table, c.1835, the shallow rectangular top over a frieze centred by a lions mask within stylised foliage, the legs carved as extraordinary griffin monopedia on claw and ball feet, 150cm wide 44cm deep 90.5cm high CONDITION REPORT: Rear legs reaffixed. Movement to 'stomach' of one griffin where original applied piece has moved. One wing on right hand leg cracked and almost detached. Small hole amidst feathers on wing. General light wear and knocks. Extremities: 173cm wide x 53cm deep.
A George III mahogany extending dining table, having a foldover top, a concertina action, two leaves with reeded edges, and eight turned legs, 360cm long max 122cm wide 73cm high CONDITION REPORT: One leaf missing. The foldover leaf with two patches inset to the folding corners 18cm and 16cm long. The other end leaf with a 3cm chip and a smaller chip. Some wear. One leg detached (simply needs re-glueing).
HOLLAND AND SONS A walnut tripod table, the circular top inlaid with specimen woods, including harewood and planewood, on a fluted tapering column and three leaf-capped and moulded legs, stamped 'Holland' on rail below top, 56cm diameter 73cm high Holland and Sons are known to have imported these inlaid tops from New Zealand and mounted them on bases. CONDITION REPORT: Appears in good condition.
A George III mahogany sofa table, the drop leaf top with strung and crossbanded decoration over two frieze drawers and two dummy drawers, double turned end supports with ebony rings, and outsplayed legs with an ebony boss and beading, 93cm long (minimum) 63cm deep 72cm high CONDITION REPORT: One hinge detached from the leaf. One pair of outsplayed legs with screw repairs and an applied iron strap. The other side with one leg with extensive wear. Worn to the underside.
LAMB, MANCHESTER, A Victorian oak draw-leaf dining table, c.1860, the top with two leaves, canted corners and double strung borders, on a strung frieze, four spirally turned legs with ebonised rings, and a galleried X-shaped floor stretcher, stamped Lamb, Manchester 37350, 213cm long 120cm wide CONDITION REPORT: Top has scratching and staining. Two leave in better condition than rest of top. Various saw marks on one end slither missing (please view image). Scuffing to ends of feet.
HOLLAND & SONS FOR MARLBOROUGH HOUSE A Hungarian ash, rosewood and tulipwood library table, c.1865, the leather inset top within a crossbanded border over two frieze drawers, the standard ends with moulded decoration and parcel gilt carved shells, husks and foliage, the downswept supports terminating in shell carved feet enclosing casters, both drawers stamped 'Holland & Sons' with a paper label M H 2394 below a printed coronet, 113cm wide 65cm deep 74.5cm high Marlborough House in the City of Westminster was designed by Sir Christopher Wren for Sarah Churchill, Duchess of Marlborough, and completed in 1711. The house was taken into crown ownership in 1817. From 1853-61 Queen Victoria and Prince Albert arranged for the building to by used by the 'National Art Training School'. From 1863 to 1901 it was famously home to the Prince of Wales (later Edward VII) and his wife Alexandra when it became the social centre for London's high society. CONDITION REPORT: Usual wear.
PROBABLY EXECUTED BY CRACE, THE DESIGN ATTRIBUTED TO L. N. COTTINGHAM A large Gothic satin birch, giltwood and polychrome table, c.1835 the base with gothic and arabesque panels, the ends with armorial hatchments of The Earl of Harrington, bears paper label 'Talbot 26/7/26', 90cm wide 191cm long 80cm deep Crace also designed polychrome gilt furniture for Knebworth. CONDITION REPORT: Scratches and marks to top surface. Chips, splits and small losses to gilding.
