A Victorian burr walnut Sutherland table, 115 cm wide Condition report Report by GH Height is 72 cm. The top of the table is sun-faded unevenly. Various chips, scratches and damages to veneer with some small areas of loss in the centre. One of the main legs has what appears to be fresh wood worm damage, and a repair to the cross stretcher. The table is almost certainly made up.
A Moorish style inlaid octagonal table (some loss), 58 cm wide Condition report Report by GH The top has many areas of loss to the mother of pearl and bone inlay as well as to the wood inlay. This loss is uniformly spread across the top of the table with one particularly large area of loss towards the edge. The loss is particularly evident in the octagonal sections and there is little or no evidence of any repairs. The rim of the top is in better condition with only very minor losses and small areas of scuff and damage. There is very occasional loss to the leading edge of the beadwork between the rim and the top of the table. The sides of the table are in better condition than the top but there are one or two small losses to each panel. There are much heavier losses towards the feet of the table, where many pieces have splintered off, probably due to vacuuming. There are also spots of water damage throughout the piece, but this is by no means extreme. Three of the side panels which form the octagon are also coming apart and are loose. Overall this is an honest and unrestored piece with defects throughout.
An oak refectory style table, carved a crest and dated 1661, the two inch thick single plank top on chamfered square legs joined by an H stretcher, 213 cm wide, and a set of eight oak dining chairs, with leather backs and seats, crested to match (6+2) (9) See illustration

A pair of WMF pewter candlesticks, on square pierced spreading columns, with stylised decoration and four bracket feet, 15.5 cm high and an Art Nouveau Kayserzinn pewter table oil lamp, with loop handle and raised foliate decoration, the base stamped 4439, 24 cm high (3) Condition report Report by NG The pair of candlesticks: Again losses to the coating all over both candlesticks, with some areas slightly misshapen and dented. The candlesticks have obviously been used and there is some wax down the sides and some ingrained dirt. One of the candlesticks has more of the original top coating remaining than the other, but both are fairly worn. The copper inserts where the candles would sit are both slightly dented and misshapen. Overall these candlesticks are in used condition with no major damage and wear commensurate with age.
