Lord Norman Foster for Tecno, a 'Nomos' table, the glass surface resting on eight arms and a chromed base with pad feet, Tecno marks to ends, 222 x 100 cm CONDITION REPORT: Glass good with no chips or cracks. No significant surface scratches to the glass. The frame is structurally sound but does have some minor brown spotting and some 'bubbling' in places- see images.
A 1950's style Canadian bistro/diner set, the table with a black and white chequered surface, d. 91 cm, together with four matching swivel stools CONDITION REPORT: The set has been barely used so is in good condition. The laminate surface has some scuffs but no dinks or losses. The aluminium banding to the table has a gap of approx.. 5mm where it should join together but is secure. The upholstery is good with no damage or lasting marks- a light clean should suffice. There are no maker's marks but the chairs are stamped to the underside with 'Made in Canada' and also with the fire regulation marks.
After Ludwig Mies van der Rohe, a 'Barcelona' style suite upholstered in black button upholstery on flat chromed legs, including a sofa, l. 153 cm, two chairs and a glass-topped table CONDITION REPORT: The upholstery is probably leatherette- see images of the inside of the covers. No rips, marks or other concerns. Overall good. The glass top of the table is a marriage and is lacking the suckers/pads.
Robert Heritage for Archie Shine, a 1960's 'Bridgeford' Range rosewood drum table with four drawers and reeded frieze, on a circular shaft and three legs, d. 142.5 cm CONDITION REPORT: CITES Article 10 Transaction Specific Ref: 600663/01. Base not screw in but otherwise very good.
Richard Young for Merrow Associates, a glass dining or meeting table with a chromed circular-form base, 198 x 91 cm CONDITION REPORT: Structurally sound. Base good with only very minor wear but nothing significant. Previously well looked after. Some surface scuffs to the glass and one very small chip to the glass. Please see the additional images.
Illum Wikkelso for CFC Silkeborg, a 1950/60's Danish teak side table, w. 59 cm, containing three folding occasional tables CONDITION REPORT: Structurally sound. The tables are clean and tidy with no concerns. The main table/chassis is sound with only some minor small old knocks to the corners. The surface is slightly worn and would benefit from a wax.
