A 19th century Irish Killarney yew 'strawberry wood' tripod table, the circular top with a gallery and inlaid with marquetry scrolling flowers, on an open base with conforming inlay, 65cm high, 46.3cm diameter. Lot 312 – the Killarney table. The top is at a little bit of a slant. There are old construction cracks and some chips to the edge. Some losses to inlay with some filled sections. Old cracks to legs with some spliced repairs and with further losses to inlay.

A mahogany serving table by Theodore Alexander, with calamander crossbanding fitted with three frieze drawers, one with a brass makers' plaque, on square tapering legs united by an undertier, modern, 90cm high, 140.5cm wide, 38.5cm deep.Provenance: The Royal College of Ophthalmologists removed from 17 Cornwall Terrace, London.
An Austrian cold painted bronze Orientalist table lamp by Bergman, modelled with two Arabs next to a mosque, the steps adorned with a rug with swords, a hookah, coffee pot, a beaker and a plate, the reverse stamped with 'B' in a vase and also inscribed 'Beng', late 19th century, 35.7cm high, 11.8cm wide, 10.8cm deep. See Joseph Zobel, Antique Vienna Bronzes, p.198 for an identical lamp with its canopy. Lot 383 – Bergman lamp. Unfortunately this isn’t in the best of condition with overall losses to the cold pained decoration. The tip of the minaret is missing and also the stem supporting the birds and the whole canopy is also missing. The seated figure is loose and needs re-fixing to the base. It is rather grubby and dirty with some old verdigris spots. There is no light fitting inside the minaret. Some old cracks and losses to the glass inserts inside the tower. This hasn’t been restored but needs some attention. Old marks and dents to minarets and overall the tower is a little loose. Some of the applied swords are a little loose.
A Victorian oak writing table by A.W.N. Pugin by Holland & Sons, the moulded edge top inset a writing surface above a pair of frieze drawers fitted with iron loop handles, one drawer stamped 'HOLLAND & SONS', on faceted column supports united by a central chamfered stretcher on castors, 75.3cm high, 122.8cm wide, 82.4cm deep. From 1847 until his death in 1852 Augustus Welby Northmore Pugin provided designs for the new Palace of Westminster which were carried out by Gillows and Holland & Sons. This table is similar to ones found in the Brougham Room in the House of Lords Library.
λ A late Victorian rosewood demi-lune card table by Hampton & Sons, the fold-over top on twin gate supports with brass strengthening struts to a frieze drawer stamped 'HAMPTON & SONS PALL MALL EAST' the legs with incised decoration on brass caps and castors, 76.4cm high, 91.5cm wide, 45.2cm deep.
A 19th century mahogany serving table, the rectangular plum pudding top above a dentil and blind-fret frieze in the Chinese Chippendale style with a drawer with pierced corner brackets on conforming legs and block feet, 83cm high, 209.4cm wide, 71.5cm deep. Lot 83 – Chinese Chippendale style serving table. There is a slight bow to the top with old hairline cracks, dents and some water stains. A section of the moulding on the back edge is missing. A section of veneer to the back right corner of the edge is missing with further small chips. Old damage to the fret panels on the front left leg. Old chips with losses to the dentil cornice on the frieze. Some old cracks to legs. Further small chips and losses to fret carving on frieze and legs. The back right corner bracket has been b4roken but we do have the pieces. General surface wear. There is a gap between the drawer and the left hand section.
