There are a few small internal inclusions, including as healed fracture, but they are mostly under the crown facets. The diamonds are bright and lively, colour mostly H-I, clarity mostly SI, but some variation. The setting has some wear, there is some thinning to the back of the shank, it has also been sized, but still very much useable and has life left. Some thinning to the claws, some are very thin holding the diamonds, but stones are currently still secure. The sapphire claws may have been subtly replaced/retipped.Condition Report Disclaimer

The diamonds are bright and lively, colour estimated H, clarity VS, assessed in the settings, the settings have some signs of use, there are some surface scuffs, some of the settings rhodium plating is coming off at the back of the shank showing a slight gold coloured tint to the back and inside of the shank, also seen to the tips of the tanzanite's claws, but not very obvious. The ring is not marked but it is gold under the plating. There is a tiny claw that would hold one of the diamonds missing- it may be from manufacture, the stone is currently not moving in the settingCondition Report Disclaimer

In 1955 Renée married the British equestrian and Olympic show jumping medallist Peter Robeson. Together Peter and Renée became hugely successful racehorse trainers from their stud at Tyringham in Buckinghamshire Condition Report: The shank has been sized and has some thinning commensurate with age and use. The ruby has some scratches to the facets and the table, some nicks and nibbling to the facet edges and girdle, there are some typical inclusions, but the stone is bright. The diamonds are bright and lively. Dating from the second quarter of the 20th century.
