Fine and unusual late-Regency burr elm supper table in the manner of George Bullock, the octagonally lobed snap top with dished recesses, on hexagonally faceted column and triangular platform, with scrolled feet, 62cm diameter CONDITION REPORT Top and base appear to be associated, square plug to underside of top and circular marks around square plug, top has some slight veneer losses to edge and also to underside of top, block may be associated, column and base with general wear but basically ok
Georgian and Victorian composite Old English pattern table service - comprising six Georgian dessert spoons (marks rubbed), two other dessert spoons, six Victorian dessert forks (London 1839), six Georgian table forks (marks rubbed) and pair of table forks (London 1797), four Georgian tablespoons with picture backs, 41ozs CONDITION REPORT General overall condition is good. All pieces have surface scratching and there is some minor denting to some of the spoon bowls. Some of the engraved crests and initials are worn commensurate with age and use. Rare 17th century tortoiseshell and silver mounted table snuff box of oval form, the lid with applied silver disc engraved with a Man o' War in full sail, the foreground with a gentleman on the shore, the underneath also with an applied silver oval plaque with engraved verse - 'This Sister Prince doth heartily bestow, keep it in Memory of the Love I Owe. John Gurr 1687', 10.5cm x 9cm CONDITION REPORT General overall condition good. Tortoiseshell very good for age, some surface wear and scratching but no signs of major damage or repair. Applied silver disc on cover is good, engraving is clear but slightly worn. Applied disc to base also slightly worn and dented. Hinge possibly repaired a long time ago. Clasp has been broken and repaired a long time ago
