An 18ct Gold Solitaire Diamond Ring, set with a brilliant cut white diamond, approximately .75ct, size N+, The ring appears to be in good overall condition showing wear commensurate with age and moderate usage. The stone is securely set and all the claws are present. There is no obvious sign of damage to the table or girdle, however the stone is fairly heavily included in the form of a "feather" which occupies approximately 15% of the stone. There is no obvious sign of previous damage or repair. Please note we are not qualified to grade stones and all potential bidders are strongly advised to study all images closely prior to bidding.
An Early Victorian Mahogany Library Table with green leather and gilt tooled inset and moulded edge to top, fitted two frieze drawers, flanked by scroll brackets, on turned and fluted stretcher, conforming trestle base, with turned and fluted bun feet, 48ins wide x 26ins deep x 29ins highTo the top there are some general signs of scratching, darker staining, some slight gilt loss to the leather. The leather itself is distressed. Around all four edges of the top there are signs of general rubbing and edge knocks and the top is unevenly faded to the base. The drawers run and free and easily with minimal resistance. General heavier wear to the trestle supports and feet commensurate with age. Overall the item is structurally sound with little to no movement in the joints. The locks are present and appear to be original. The leather has probably been replace or refreshed in the last 100 years and is definitely not original. In our opinion this item is genuine.
A George V Silver Framed Rectangular Dressing Table Mirror by James Deakin & Sons, Birmingham 1913, the whole embossed and pierced with shaped cartouche, scrolls, floral leaf and trellis ornament and with bead mounts and inset with bevelled mirror panel 20ins x 14.5insThis mirror generally appears to be in good condition with no obvious damage/loss/restoration to the silver. The wooden back board has a vertical age shrinkage crack from the top down to the upper part of the stand. The material back has some wear and loss. The silver is hallmarked but not signed. The mirror plate has some very light scattered loss to the silvering, particularly to the lower edge.
