WOLVES - LIVERPOOL 47 Wolves home programme v Liverpool, 31/5/47, Wolves were top of the table one point ahead of Liverpool who were in fourth place with Man Utd who had completed their fixtures and Stoke in between them. Final game for both Wolves and Liverpool and Liverpool won 2-1 to go top and two weeks later Sheffield United defeated Stoke and Liverpool were Champions by one point. Slight creasing, no writing. Generally good
MERTHYR TOWN - PLYMOUTH 1925 Merthyr Town home programme v Plymouth, 14/11/1925, Division 3 South, Plymouth finished as runners -up whilst Merthyr finished lower mid-table but left the Football League in 1929-30. Four page issue, some creasing, no writing, folds. Very scarce issue. Fair
SHEFFIELD UNITED - STOKE 46-7 Sheffield United home programme v Stoke, 14/6/47 , June and the Division 1 Championship title still to be decided. Liverpool were top but had completed their season, Stoke were two points behind but if they won this game they would be Champions.. Sadly for Stoke, they lost 2-1 and finished fourth, it was that tight at the top. Minor creasing, League table updated. Generally good
