A Victorian silver fiddle pattern flatware service, by George Adams, London 1878/79, 12 table forks, 12 tablespoons, 12 dessert forks, 12 dessert spoons, 94oz (48) CONDITION REPORT: General wear, as expected, including surface scratching and spots of tarnish. Most bowls only have light wear, some general wear to tips of tines.
A sapphire and diamond bee brooch, the bee with an oval mixed cut sapphire forming the abdomen, and rose cut diamond set eyes, wings and thorax, applied to a two row, blade edge bar brooch. A pair of sprigs to each side, grain set with rose cut diamonds. Numbered 649. Later rhodium plating CONDITION REPORT: Requires cleaning. The bars and branches are probably yellow gold, underneath the later plating, Surface reaching inclusion to the table of the sapphire. 51mm in length.
A diamond set three row tonneau-shaped clasp, with a central row of three cushion cut and two old European cut diamonds, grain set to milligrain box settings, with two outer rows of graduated old European and old Swiss cut diamonds. All later mounted to a box clasp with a pierced backplate CONDITION REPORT: Scratch to the table of the centre diamond. Requires cleaning. 25mm x 13mm excluding eyelets. The setting edge tests as platinum with silver solder to the box. The rest of the clasp, box, tongue and eyelets are later, and have been made to fit the setting plate; they test as approximately 9ct white gold. VS2, SI1-SI2 range, H/I/J range; estimated total diamond weight of approximately 2.60ct. Scratch visible under 10x magnification - image available on request.
An Art Deco black opal and diamond plaque ring, an oval cabochon black opal, four claw set to the centre, with an arched frame of graduated old brilliant cut and eight cut diamonds, with baguette cut diamonds at the sides and shoulders. Tested as platinum. Ring case by Sanford Bros., Jewellers, 8 Holborn Bars, EC1. Finger size L CONDITION REPORT: Shank a little worn at the back. Obus cut diamond at one shoulder chipped. The black opal shows a good range of colours with a large red flash. Lots of surface wear and scratches with areas of natural indentations present when the stone was polished. 12.70mm x 7.50mm x 3.69mm (NB the depth is including the matrix). There is a layer of potch below the black opal layer. This layer is uneven and irregular, showing through the table surface of the stone in places, but at the girdle absent in others. Not hallmarked or dated in any way - from the style, stones and construction Art Deco in period, probably circa 1930. Probably the original box, but we cannot be sure.
An 18ct gold ruby and diamond oval cluster ring, with an oval mixed cut ruby, surrounded by brilliant cut diamonds, all claw set to a white head with yellow shank. Import hallmark London 1988. Finger size O½ CONDITION REPORT: Table scratched, and crown facet edge wear to the ruby. Very small chip to the girdle. All stones dirty and would benefit from being cleaned. Rippled marks to the inside of the shank.

Bowl of feather edge spoon has small dents. Slight dent to piercing of sifter spoon. Other spoon has worn bowl with dents and worn tip.
