An antique Indian Benares table with a scallop-edged brass top intricately chased with scrollwork and figures of lions, deer and people, supported by a six-legged folding hardwood stand, with detailed carving, bobbin work and inlaid with mother of pearl stars. Diameter 62cm, height 56cm.

All supported on a turned pillar with acanthus leaf carved base, raised on a concaved rectangular base, with beaded edge, and four carved pomegranate shaped feet on brass casters.
