A silver bonbon dish, pin dish and dressing table candlestick by Christophe Widmann, each stamped 835, a further continental 835 standard pierced candlestick and an American silver bonbon dish by Wallace, numbered 4114. CONDITION REPORT: Other than being very dirty the three bonbon dishes are in good order with no significant damage or other issues. We can see no evidence of any repairs. The two small candle holders are also in good structural order with no visible damage, no repairs and no restoration. The larger of the two may at some point have had a sconce. This is not present. The aperture into which this may have fitted, if indeed there was a sconce, is full of some form of glue.

Height excluding electrical fitting 55.5 cm. CONDITION REPORT: The lamp has been converted to take a modern bulb. It is currently illuminated in our saleroom. Ready to use.

Lot 597

After Isamu Noguchi, a contemporary glass topped coffee table, the table base comprising of two shaped sections of natural hardwood supporting a large heavy shaped glass top, originally designed in 1944. The top 128 cm x 95 cm, height 41 cm overall. CONDITION REPORT: The glass top is free from any chips. There are one or two light surface scratches but nothing that in our opinion is detrimental. The wooden base is generally in good order. The top edge shows signs of where the glass has sat. The base appears to be free from any losses, splits or flaws.

Lot 935

An Edwardian brass adjustable table lamp, with amber and clear glass shade. Height 58 cm (see illustration). CONDITION REPORT: The glass shade is in good order with no obvious chips or cracks. The metalwork is in good order albeit lightly tarnished on the stem and foot. The light does adjust at the shade and on the stem column. The light is in working order.
