AN 18CT WHITE GOLD AND PLATINUM SOLITAIRE DIAMOND RING diamond estimated approx 1.58cts, 7.52mm x7.54mm x 4.40mm and spans at 1.55cts, in classic crown mount, finger size P, weight 3.8gms Condition Report: I cannot give you a full diamond appraisal, i.e the 4 C's as I am not qualified to do so. I can tell you what I can see with knowledge of inclusions and quality of gem stones up to Gemmology Association Certificate level. Tiny cloudy patch on one side of the table, with a even smaller clear crystal on the other , both can only just be seen with a 20x loope. Good bright cut, colour estimated G-H.
A BRONZE AND ORMOLU TABLE LIGHT of candelabra form with cut glass lustre drops, the body with Bacchus masks and swags, 59cm high, together with another table lamp hugn with cut glass lustre drops and with malachite chip and enamel base, 35cm high (2) Condition Report: Main light - one of the glass candle pillars is broken at the top. missing some lustre drops and chips to some others. One arm is a bit loose. a small hole in the metal base - please see images. Malachite light - . No issues. Both are tarnished to the gilt and will need re-wiring.
A CHINESE HARDWOOD OCCASSIONAL TABLE the rectangular top above A pierced frieze of blossoming branches and a three tiered stage below, on naturalistically carved legs, 63cm high, 77cm wide and 44cm deep Provenance William Braidwood (1857 - 1938) The founder of The Craigengower Cricket Club in Hong Kong in 1894. This Scottish headmaster began his post at The Victoria Boys School in 1890. Games of cricket were played each Saturday and were specifically run to encompass all nationalities and religions.Sport for all was part of the ethos of Braidwood and this visionary was well remembered by the club. Now in its 126th year The Happy Valley based club is the second oldest in Hong Kong. The following lots 192 to 211 are from the family and thence by descent. Condition Report: Available upon request

A COLLECTION OF 19TH CENTURY MOTHER OF PEARL including a gilt metal table bell formed from three polished mother of pearl shells on a pierced gilt metal and alabaster base, another smaller example, a velvet lined trinket box with glass lid, a table salt mounted with a gilded eagle, a dish set within a gilded mount with doves to either end and a candlestand with opening door, 21cm high (6) Condition Report: a gilt metal table bell formed from three polished mother of pearl shells on a pierced gilt metal and alabaster base - a couple of small dents to metal rims. Rings nicely. another smaller example - gilt metal a bit misshapen. Has a stronger ring to bell. a velvet lined trinket box with glass lid - Where the hinge sits a bit misshapen . a table salt mounted with a gilded eagle - nice condition. a dish set within a gilded mount with doves to either end - the front arm is broken near the body of the piece but it is not a supporting arm. a candlestand with opening door - the door needs a small adjustment as it flips open. Most of the gilding/brass is tarnished. All of the shells are in nice condition.

MARY L FAIRGRIEVE (1875-1969) A POTTERY OVAL DISH AND COVER painted with stylised flowers and foliage inside and out with a dark blue/purple banded border, 23.5cm long together with a similar pottery table salt, both with MLF monogram and black cat motif (2) Condition Report: Both pieces are crazed with some discolouration to the salt. Both in need of a good wash.
AN 18CT GOLD GENTS THREE STONE DIAMOND RING set with estimated approx 1.50cts of brilliant cut diamonds all three in eight point star settings, finger size approx Q1/2 - R1/2, weight 14.6gms Condition Report: I cannot give you a full diamond appraisal, i.e the 4 C's as I am not qualified to do so. I can tell you what I can see with knowledge of inclusions and quality of gem stones up to Gemmology Association Certificate level. Middle diamond; estimated approx 0.70cts has an eye visible carbon spot to one side of the table, and a cluster of smaller ones towards the girdle, good colour H-I well cut. The two smaller diamonds estimated approx 0.40cts each, both nice clean stones with no carbon or other inclusions that I can see. All three diamonds are bright and sparkly. Mount; good heavy weight, light scratches indicative of wear, some air bubble holes to solder seam at the back.

I can tell you what I can see with knowledge of inclusions and quality of gem stones up to Gemmology Association Certificate level. Diamond;- The colour is good possibly F-G, a very nice clean stone with only a tiny, tiny grey feather with a little patch of clear crystals to one edge of the table. No chips or a laser id number (that I can see) to the girdle. Mount classic 6 prong with some wear to the middle claw from rubbing on another ring. .
A late 19th century French white metal table snuff box of oval form, the hinged cover with crowned cipher, above a pair of portrait miniatures of Napoleon and Josephine, within a border of coloured stones to include turquoise, the box sides with embossedgreek key and foliate decoration, gilt washed interior, unmarked, 9.8 cm wide x 6.5 cm x 3.5 cm, 144 g.
