The Beatles, Leslie Bryce, nine black and white 'proof' photographs c.1964.- depicted The Beatles performing in a television studio, playing table tennis and generally having fun, most believed to be associated with a TV Special 'Around The Beatles', 28th April 1964, the photos were used as a window display at Kodak House, Kingsway, London in the mid-1960s, mounted, framed and glazed,18 x 24 inches overall.Provenance: ex-Christies Lot 72, 25th May 1995.Photos believed to be unpublished. The vendor makes no copyright claim but it will be the buyers responsibility to establish the copyright/licensing status of these items, Leslie Bryce, was a photographer for fan magazine, The Beatles Book (also known as Beatles Monthly) founded in 1963. Bryce had unrivalled access to the group and travelled the world with the band throughout the 1960s.

(17)Provenance: The Collection of British puppeteer, Christine Glanville (1924-1999). Glanville's long collaboration with Gerry Anderson began in 1956 as a puppet operator on the Twizzle And Torchy TV. series. She went on to design, sculpt and operate many leading characters including Four Feather Falls, Supercar, Fireball XL5, Stingray, Thunderbirds, Captain Scarlet And The Mysterons, Terrahawks and Andersons unscreenedSpace Policepilot episode.Glanville secured the stage rights to Rupert Bear from the Daily Express in the 1970s and formed The Stage Three Company, with fellow Century 21 puppeteers, Rowena White and David Ross.Glanville was a grandniece of Robert Peel Glanville Blatchford (1851-1943) socialist campaigner, journalist, and author, and her grandfather was Punch cartoonist, Montagu Blatchford.Condition Report: signs of wear from use on the productions.
