Gilded to interior. Cover hinge sturdy. A small cluster of deep scrape marks to inside front edge of box, not penetrating through to exterior though. Front left corner of cover with very minor dings/wear. Light surface marks and scratches commensurate with age and use
A FINE VIENNESE ENAMEL TABLE CLOCK, CIRCA 1870, the oval case surmounted by the figure of a putto, the conforming hinged bezel housing a foliate enamelled dial, the chain fusee movement signed 'Moulinie Bautte & Moynier / Geneve', the reverse of the case decorated with a club-yielding hero, partially clad in bear fur, protecting a maiden from a snarling beast, the case raised on the back of an ostrich, supported on a domed base painted with four reserves depicting Classical figures, the cobalt ground picked-out with gilded foliage and applied with four scroll and portrait motifs, the underside blue painted with foliage, raised on mask-capped scroll feet. 18.5cm highCONDITION REPORTThere are no silver marks on this item.

The shank has been resized. The estimated principal diamond weight is 0.55 carat approximately. The estimated qualities of the diamonds are; colour: G/H/I, clarity: VS2/SI1/SI2. The shank is indistinctly stamped, possibly ‘18CT’, in our opinion it would test as white gold.
