An early 19th Century George III period mahogany side table raised on tall slender turned annulated legs, 63.5 x 45cm CONDITION REPORT: Colour is generally very good, some scuffing and scratching to legs, the top slightly faded with minor water marks but still of a pleasing colour and figure, there are old historic 2" approx. splits in from the side of the piece mainly at the back right hand side where the lot number side is, there are also minor scrape indentations, general scuffs and scratches around the leg areas and frieze, minor bruising noted but generally in good honest original condition, this is 70cm high
A late 19th./early 20th Century Chinese hardwood square Low Table, 50cm square CONDITION REPORT: The wood has faded to the top and is subsequently darker to the frieze and legs, the item would probably have had stretchers at one stage and these are now missing, minor small repairs to tops of legs, the underside looks nice and is dry and untouched.
A George III period 'D-end' Dining Table with central drop-leaf section, the whole raised on square tapering legs, approx. 270cm fully extended CONDITION REPORT: The table has faded quite prevalently, four clips are there, this has come privately from Sandlin House, some letting in of small fillets and repairs, minor water damage, the legs have faded a different colour and are scuffed and bruised mostly at the bottom, some scratches to the top of the table and water marks etc., some small pieces of veneer have been let in.
A good late 18th Century George III period bow fronted mahogany and boxwood strung fold over semi-elliptical Tea Table, single central drawer and raised on square tapering boxwood strung legs terminating in castors, 106cm wide sold with original receipt dated 23rd November 1993 for £2,250
An 18th Century Dutch walnut and marquetry fold over top Card Table, the top with marquetry inlay depicting birds amongst flowers and foliage etc., and opening to reveal a green baize interior cornered by four circular guinea wells with individual card suits, with small central flush drawer and raised on slender cabriole front legs headed with carved scallop shell style motifs to the knees and terminating in pad feet, 74cm (widest) x 36cm (deepest) CONDITION REPORT: Predominantly for restoration, see images, there is some stringing and marquetry missing, fading, old repairs, there is some historic worm and also some veneers away.
Early 19th century figured satinwood veneered demilune fold over tea table. Top with tulip wood cross banding, frieze with central panel inlaid with classical urn, square section tapering legs with two swinging supports. 97cm (38in) wide. George III mahogany drop-leaf table, oval top with three reed edge, single frieze drawer, all standing on turned legs, with double gate. 133 x 165cm (52 x 65in). Condition report: Probably converted from centre section of larger table, changing a rectangular top to an oval top to disguise alteration. Overall finish good.
