19th century silver plate four section table candelabra centre piece, having cut glass bowl above acanthas leaf decoration with four detachable sconces on a swivel tapering base with floral and foliate designs standing on four paw feet. Appearing unmarked. Height 48cm approx. (B.P. 21% + VAT)
French design walnut kidney shaped desk or table, the moulded and shaped top above a carved design frieze with gilt metal mounts standing on cabriole legs. 134x8071cm approx. (B.P. 21% + VAT) Heavy ware marks, splits and fading and stains to the top, dry in places. Structurally sound overall, appears to have all its metal mounts intact.
A Victorian rosewood inlaid swivel games table and work box. The folding card table with hinged lid above a single drawer with brush slide and chess board, pull-out work or needle box standing on a quadraform base with scroll carved feet. (B.P. 21% + VAT) Some lifting to the veneer with stains, marks and splits to the top, the green baize is replacement, handles and lock all present, general ware commensurate with age, but overall in good useable condition.
Mid century coromandel finish circular centre table, having two additional leafs and standing on stylised moulded legs. Probably Danish, appearing unmarked. 165cm diameter x 70cm high.(B.P. 21% + VAT) Appearing in good condition overall, there are a few marks and scratches to the top, but no obvious serious damage and some minor ware to the legs, but no obvious or serious damage noted.
19th century Welsh traditional oak and elm cricket table. 67cm diameter x71cm high approx. (B.P. 21% + VAT) Shrinkage and other splits to the top, stains, marks and ware as expected. The triangular under tier has a shrinkage split, some minor losses to the legs, scratches and ware commensurate with age.
A mahogany satinwood and rosewood crossbanded oval dining table, in the manner of William Tillman, on a turned column and four reeded spade legs, terminating in castors, 75cm high, the top 122cm x 178cm, and a matching set of six Sheraton Revival chairs, each with an oval spider's web type back, a padded seat, on square tapering legs, two with arms. The upholstery in this lot does not comply with the 1988 (Fire & Fire Furnishing) Regulations, unless sold to a known exporter or upholsterer it will be cut from the frame before leaving the premises. Provenance. Purchased from Little Horringer Hall, former home of The 7th Marquess of Bristol, sold with an accompanying brochure showing the table and chairs.
