A matching George VI silver and guilloche enamelled dressing table set consisting of hand mirror, two hand brushes and two smaller clothes brushes, all with vibrant blue guilloche enamel decoration, hallmarked by Mappin & Webb, Birmingham, 1937, one hand brush dated 1938, along with three matching turquoise guilloche enamelled and gilt base metal dressing table pieces, mirror and two brushes and a silver plated and white and floral guilloche enamelled hand mirror.  (9) Further Details: Silver set: Some signs of damage to the enamel to mirror, both handled brushes and one smaller brush, otherwise general wear, some tarnishing to all, plated/metal pieces: slight damage to enamel on handled brush, some slight nibbles and wear/tarnishing.

Signed to front cover by special guest Edward Heath MP and with multiple signatures inside (approx. 20) inc. Michael Holding, Alvin Kallicharran, Collis King, Roy Fredericks etc. Sold with Table Plan. Lots 1088 to 1137 have been consigned by a relative of a private collector who is now deceased. They form the first part of a vast collection of signatures amassed over 50+ years of collecting which we will be selling in this and future auctions. Many signatures were gained in person from boyhood days at sports venues, theatres & other locations and continued through to later years with auction purchases and exchanges of correspondence.
