A Meissen figure of a lady beside a spinning wheel, 19th century, reclining in a chair with a bible in her right hand, a small spindle on a cabriole leg table beside her, blue crossed swords mark, 16.5cm. The figure is after the 1747 engraving by Louis Surugue, `Les Amusement de la View Privée`, which in turn was after the painting by Chardin of the previous year.
A mid Victorian walnut and part inlaid games and work table, the shaped rectangular top centred with inlaid scrolls and flowers, opening to reveal a part baize lined interior, above two frieze drawers and pull-out textile drawer, on turned supports joined by a carved cylindrical stretcher, the whole terminating in brass castors, (when closed), 77cm wide, 46cm deep, 74.5cm high.
An early Edwardian mahogany and boxwood strung Sheraton Revival side table, the moulded rectangular top centred by an oval inlaid fan flanked by shell inlaid spandrels and wide outer crossbanding above six frieze drawers, each with swan necked handles, raised on square tapering supports joined by curved and plain stretchers, the whole terminating in castors, 74cm wide, 39.5cm deep, 89.5cm high.
