Four 19th Century Dutch Embossed Brass Wall Plaques in deep bevelled frames with gilt liners, depicting a travelling man with playing cards tucked into the brim of his hat 10 1/2 ins x 8 1/2 ins (27 cms x 21.5 cms), a rustic couple sat at a tavern table 6 3/4 ins x 7 ins (18 cms x 18 cms), a pipe smoker 5 3/4 ins x 5 ins (14.5 cms x 13 cms) and an imbiber 5 ins x 5 3/4 ins (13 cms x 14.5 cms).
A Large 17th Century Oil on Panel; Three-quarter Length Portrait of a Gentleman & his Dog sat on a table beside him, inscribed Anno Domini 1638 Aetatis Sua 56 in the upper left hand corner with motto inscribed around a scrolling banner to the upper right, 59 ins x 38 ins (150 cms x 100 cms). The black & gilt frame having carved outer giltwood borders and foliate sprays to the black centre channels 68 ins x 49 ins (173 cms x 125 cms).
An Unusual 18th Century Walnut Folding Table. The circular segmented top having a moulded edge and measuring 33 3/4 ins (86 cms) in diameter. The swivel mechanism enabling the top to fall to the left or the right and resting on the double swing gates. The turned column legs terminating on double hoof feet adjoined with a large central stretcher with serpentine carved sides corresponding with the top rail. The gates having ball & baluster turned stretchers and terminating on ball feet. 27 3/4 ins (70 1/2 cms).
A Large 19th Century Pine Serving Table/Dresser. The top having a curved front edge and a shaped splash back rail. The frieze accommodating three large drawers with wooden knop handles above an apron with curved ends on square block legs. 41 ins (104 cms) high, 74 ins (188 cms) long and 26 ins (66 cms) deep.
A George II Red Walnut Side Table. The top having re-entrant front corners above a long lip-moulded drawer fitted into a shaped frieze and standing on square legs with recessed rounded outer corners and canted inner ones, 27 1/2 ins (70 cms) in height, 28 ins (71 cms) wide and 17 1/2 ins (44.5 cms) deep.
A Fine 17th Century Oak Trestle-base Drop-leaf Table (Ex Alder Collection sold at Sothebys). The oval top measuring 46 ins x 35 ins (117 cms x 89 cms). The leaves supported on swing out serpentine edged plank gates. The broad end planks with shaped sides fretted with inverted hearts and fitted with a drawer either end 29 1/2 ins (75 cms) in height.
