After E Picault, "Victoria", a gilded spelter table lamp, early 20th century, 76 cm high. CONDITION REPORT: The light is in good working order. It is a uniform colour throughout and may have been re-painted but not recently. There are small chips to the paintwork around the feet and it is slightly thinner around his buttocks and the rear of is cape. There is a small patch of wear to the paintwork at the top of his head but nothing our opinion that detracts from his decorative appeal. There appear to be no signs of any breakages or repairs. The glass shade appears to be in good order with no obvious chips.

A George III carved oak table box, the top carved with stylised Prince of Wales plumes, the interior with a small candle box, with side carrying handles, all on a plinth base. 38 cm wide, 17 cm high, 23 cm deep. CONDITION REPORT: Generally in good order throughout with good patination. The lock does have a key but whilst it turns the catches do not engage. The interior diameter and not including the candle box 28.3 cm wide x 19 cm deep and to include the candle box it is 34 cm wide. The hinges are in good order and everything works as it should with the exception of the lock. On the plinth base there have been some small homemade bun feet applied which are not visible until you turn it over. All in all a nice little box.
A 19th century mahogany tripod table with piecrust edge, snap action, turned column and legs terminating in claw and ball feet. CONDITION REPORT: The table top is manufactured from two sections of mahogany. The smaller section is slightly loose. If this was fixed back in place the dividing line between the two planks would be almost invisible. This would be very easy to do. The table top is itself flat with no warping. The colour is generally good and there are only very minor surface scratches and small old dowel repairs. The bearers beneath the top have been moved and we believe the basin top to be a marriage. The centre turned column and legs are structurally sound. One leg has had an old break and there is a bracing hoop at the back of the leg and a drilled repair through the front. The same leg has had a break across the pad foot and repairs to the pad foot. Leg two has repairs around the edges of the pad foot. All legs have evidence of old castor holes. We believe the base and top to be a marriage. There are numerous holes to the underside of the top suggesting that the top was in a former life on a different base.
An Indian ebony carved occasional table, the circular top with star and foliate motifs and borders upon three carved legs united by an under tier. 40.5 cm diameter, 51 cm high. CONDITION REPORT: The table top has several stress fractures and one very small loss. This should be evident in our images. The top is however flat and not warped. The lower tier is in good order. All legs are in good condition with no damage, repairs or restoration. The table top lower tier and legs would dismantle relatively easily.

The handles if not original go through the original handle holes. The lock escutcheon if not original has been in position for a long time. The lock is present. We have no key. All legs are in good order with no repairs. All corner brackets are present. There is no evidence of any woodworm. The table could be used in its current state without the need for any restoration.

There are also some gaps between the dividers which are a little loose in places. The centre lid is present. Two further lids are also present but one is missing. All lids are cloth covered and the cloth covering whilst all present is a little dirty. The table itself is a little tatty and there are some nibbles to the veneers, numerous old surface marks and scratches and small sections of beading missing. There is however no evidence of any woodworm. The centre carved boss beneath the faceted trumpet is tired looking and nibbled around the edges.
An Edwardian mahogany twin drop flap occasional table, fitted with a single frieze drawer and raised on a carved column with three bellflower carved legs terminating in spade feet. Width 33 cm. For some reason we cannot open the frieze drawer even thought there is no visible lock. The centre column and legs are all in good order with no significant issues. There is no evidence of any woodworm.
A 19th century walnut veneered and floral marquetry side table, in the French style, with gilt brass mounts, single drawer and raised on cabriole legs terminating in sabot feet. Width 62 cm (see illustration). CONDITION REPORT: The table is in generally good condition. It is structurally sound with no loose joints and all metalwork is present. The top is flat with no significant veneer losses. The crossbanded edge is slightly raised in places but there is no significant lifting of the veneers. The drawer operates as it should. The metalwork is all a little tarnished. Other than very minor veneer nibbles there are no significant issues with the table and there is no evidence of any woodworm.
An Edwardian inlaid mahogany folding cake stand, a tripod table and plant stand. CONDITION REPORT: The folding cake stand is in generally good original condition with no significant issues. A William IV mahogany turnover top tea table, with rounded corners, recessed frieze with geometric mouldings, with carved turned column, quatreform base and scroll feet with castors. Width 89 cm. CONDITION REPORT: Height 74.5 cm, depth 44 cm, width 89 cm. The table is in generally very good original condition. The top surface is in good order with only minor old marks and surface scratches. The interior is very clean and there is no damage around the hinges. The frieze is in good condition all round with all mouldings present. The centre column is in good condition with no losses. The quatreform base is also in very good order as are the scroll legs which have the original castors beneath. The quatreform base does have a few old woodworm holes (+/- 20 visible) through the mahogany veneer. The woodworm has clearly long gone. When the table is turned upside down you can see further evidence of this old woodworm in the soft pine frame beneath. Once again this is clearly old and not current. In our opinion it is not problematic. The pine bearer beneath the table top on which the centre column is supported also has a smattering of old woodworm holes.
A pair of mahogany side tables, 19th century, having a well figured top with applied moulded edge above a single drawer with brass swans neck handle and supported upon square tapering legs. 36 cm wide, 63.5 cm high. Both drawers run smoothly and do not appear to have any additional handles. All legs are in good order with no repairs or restoration. Having carefully looked at these tables they probably have been manufactured from another piece of furniture, perhaps a side table, and now converted to two side tables.
