An unusual Victorian oak and cane open arm elbow chair, stamped 'from T H Filmer & Sons, Cabinet, Upholstery, Bedding and Carpet Manufactory, 31 & 32 Berners St, Oxford St, London W'. The firm of Filmer & Son was established by Thomas Henry Filmer, a cabinet-maker, upholsterer and appraiser first recorded at 34 Berners Street in 1835. A walnut teapoy bearing the firm`s label is in the Victoria and Albert Museum The firm exhibited an extending dining table at the 1862 International Exhibition in London.

A 19th Century black basalt ware oval teapot in the Regency Wedgwood style, bears indistinct mark "C" to base, together with a Stuart crystal and plated table lamp of stylised mushroom form CONDITION REPORTS Teapot approx. 26 cm wide including handle and spout, spout has several chips and some losses, teapot body has some blemishes and has a very dull sound when tapped so possibly with some cracks and/or restoration. Lamp approx. 36 cm high, overall with some light general wear, has a hole drilled to top of shade, tarnish and wear to plated metal mounts.

Large figure of lady is approx 56 cm high, overall with some wear and some chips and damage including part of clothing glued. Pair of figures are approx 25 cm high, some areas of chips and damage, and some over-painting. Modern pierced vase and table lamp with some wear, scuffs and chips. Small coffee can with some stains and crazing, and has a dull sound when tapped.
