Beaverman - A Colin "Beaverman" Almack Of Sutton-under-Whitestone-Cliffe, an English adzed oak refectory table and six chairs, two carvers and four singles, relief Beaver to the table stretcher of the table, incised to the side stretcher of the chairs, 87 x 182 cm. Purchased c. 2000.
Alvar Aalto (1898-1976) for Finmar Ltd., a circular silver birch dining table, with laminate legs, label to the underside, diameter 127 cm, together with a Lazy Susan, label to the underside, diameter 60.5 cm and a matching set of four chairs with laminate legs, remains of the labels to the underside, (recovered over the original padding) (7). Sold with the original sales brochure and price list, table with Lazy Susan £6 10 shillings, upholstered chairs £3 each and a family photograph of the dining room. Provenance; the vendors Grandparents purchased the dining room suite for their first home in 1939 at 112 Fairfax Avenue, Hull, from Barkers, Prospect Street, Hull.

A BRIGHT YELLOW METAL FIVE STONE DIAMOND RING set with estimated approx 0.85cts of old cut diamonds to the scrolled mount with further rose cuts set in between, finger size N, weight 3.4gms Condition Report: Approximate diamond weights:-. 1 x 0.25cts. 2 x 0.20cts. 2 x 0.10cts = 0.85cts. Some carbon spots, and clear feathers seen with a loope, one right in the middle of the table of the largest diamond, one of the tiny rose cuts is missing. Mount all good.
A SUBSTANTIAL DIAMOND AND SAPPHIRE RING diamonds estimated approx at 0.96cts and 1.04cts, with further diamond accents between the stones, sapphire dimensions approx 8.2mm x 7mm x 4.6mm, made by S. Blanckensee & Son Ltd, London, (no date letter) circa 1892 to 1907, finger size P1/2, weight 6.7gms Condition Report: Diamonds estimated approx;- . 6.43 x 6.29 x 3.74mm = 0.96cts. 6.46 x 6.07 x 4.18mm = 1.04cts. Both eye bright and clean, good colour, well matched, with a loope two clear feather inclusions towards the girdle of both, sapphire has a tiny chip where it nearly touches the diamond on one side feel this must have happened during setting. Sapphire good colour has linear and hexagonal inclusions, clear stone, inclusions are in planes that go from the table to the cullet, it has been well cut to maximise colour and minimise inclusions, slight abrasions to the top facets, Mount all good.
AN 18CT GOLD SIX CLAW SET DIAMOND SOLITAIRE of estimated approx 0.98cts, finger size M, weight 3.6gms Condition Report: I cannot give you a full diamond report as I am not qualified to do so, but I can tell you what I can see. . diamond;- dimensions; 6.45mm x6.45mm x (approx closed back setting) 4.4mm. A cluster of five tiny carbon spots to the table, I can't see them by eye, only with a loope, otherwise nice clean diamond, they don't seem to reflect around the stone too badly, appears to be a decent colour F to H. no chips, mount light general wear.
