England International cap, 1887, Durham County cap, Hartlepool Rovers cap awarded to Frank Pease England International cap from the 1887 Home Nations tournament game v Ireland on February 5th 1887 at Lansdowne Road, in plum velvet with gold trim and tassel, both faded, with England badge embroidered to the front panel and 1887 embroidered to the peak, worn, interior poor and featuring and embroidered patch sewn into the lining commemorating both player and game, a Hartlepool Rovers FC cap in dark blue with gold trim and tassel, 1889 and 1890 along with Hartlepool Rovers FC embroidered to the front panel and 1887 embroidered on the peak, worn, interior good and a black Durham cap in black velvet, faded, tassel absent with Durham 1885 and 1891 embroidered to the front panel and 1886, 1887, 1888, 1889 and 1890 embroidered on each of the other panel, worn, interior good.  England finished bottom of the table in 1887 and Pease made his only appearance in the Ireland game.

Signed JD Dent, Secretary.Letter dated 12 Mar 1991 to the City of London School from AM Padley-Smith regarding Dr Arthur W Barton and their reply dated 15/3/1991 on City of London School headed paper. Signed BG Bass, Headmaster.Enclosed was various copies of pages of information on Dr Barton, along with copies of photographs.Letter dated 21 Feb 1991 to the Headmaster of Repton School, Repton, Derbyshire from AM Padley-Smith regarding Dr Arthur W Barton and their reply dated 27/2/1991 from the Secretary of The Old Reptonian Society. Signed JFM Walker.Enclosed was Postcard addressed to Dr Barton advising that he was to officiate as referee on Apr 17 Fulham v Sheff Wed. Postcard is postmarked 1939.copy of a page from a book providing detail on Dr Barton’s Educational career.Two Football Leagues letters to Dr Barton dated 22/8/1931 & 16/4/1932 both signed by Fred Rinder, Vice President.One Football Association letter dated 25/1/1932 to Dr Barton advising Lineman duty on 27/1/1932FA Cup Portsmouth vs Aston Villa to be replayed at Birmingham.Football Association, Season 1938/1939 Draw for the Fourth Round document. List includes Portsmouth vs West Bromwich Albion match that Dr Barton was due to referee.Letter (marked Private & Confidential) from The Football League on headed paper, dated 4th July 1932 to Mr Barton concerning forthcoming matches to referee and act as linesman. Letter from Fred W Rinder, Vice President and signed by him.Seven letters concerning the complaints received of Mr Barton’s performance as referee for the match Blackburn Rovers vs West Bromwich on Sept. 14th 1935.Complaint letter was from F Howarth, Secretary of the Football League dated 27 Sept 1935 and signed by him. Mr Barton’s reply of the 29 Sept 1935 and other letters concerning his defence of the complaint.Letter dated 30 Sept 1935 from F Howarth confirming receipt of Mr Barton’s reply to his letter and that his case will be put before the committee. Also a postcard dated 11 July 1932 to Mr Barton from G H Dennant, Hon.
