A George III style mahogany and crossbanded extending dining table on twin pedestal base twentieth century, with three leaf inserts. 336 cm long (leaves inserted) 115 cm wide x 73 cm height to the top, 69 cm knee height.A private estate from West LondonStamped "Henredon" to the block.Size without leaves 183 cmSize of the leaves 51.5 cm wideI would estimate this was produced within the late 20th century (20/30 yrs at its oldest) The surface has been refinished and could do with a bit of colour to make it better, and shows some old watermarks that have swelled/ raised the grain in small patches, and some scratches show through the new polish as small blemishes the leaves have some signs of older scratches, the table is structurally good and the leaves appear flat and are fixed by turn catches not "Horseshoe" clips. The blocks, pillars and leg clusters are good, the brass box toe castors will need a little tightening on the screws but aren't hanging off and are generally serviceable. The table has a knee clearance of 65 cm. See the extra images supplied to illustrate my points above.
