A pair of Victorian rosewood serpentine fronted turnover top card tables, each with moulded edge and applied carved frieze mouldings with lobed support and downswept legs terminating in scroll feet with brass castors. Height 73 cm, width 90 cm, depth 44.5 cm (see illustration). CONDITION REPORT: Both tables are structurally sound and in generally very good original condition. Neither top is warped. The top to one table has surface polish scratches which is a shame. These are not deep but visible and fairly recent. The polish to the moulded edge is a little dry. There are no losses to the mouldings on either frieze. Both centre columns are in good condition as are all legs which are not loose at the joints and do not appear to have any repairs or restoration. The castors are all present and original. The baize lined playing surfaces are dirty, tired and stained. We can see no evidence of any woodworm.
A Victorian aesthetic period walnut inlaid octagonal table, with moulded edge turned supports turned stretchers and outswept feet terminating in white ceramic castors. Height 64 cm, width 50 cm. CONDITION REPORT: The table is structurally sound. The top is flat with no warping. There are some veneer and inlay repairs between the tram line borders. The top looks to have been fairly recently polished. The moulded edge and frieze are in good condition all round with only minor veneer nibbles. There are no repairs to any of the legs. The polish is dry and beginning to perish. The castors are original and all present.
A Georgian mahogany side table, with moulded edge and frieze drawer with brass drop handles raised on chamfered legs. Height 74 cm, width 81 cm, depth 44.5 cm. CONDITION REPORT: The table is structurally sound. It is in good original condition. The top is flat with no splits, it has all of the usual old marks, ring marks that one would expect. The moulded edge is in good condition all round. The drawer runs smoothly and the drawer front is in good order. The handles would appear to be original as is the lock escutcheon and lock. We have no key. The legs are all in good order with no repairs. We can see no evidence of any woodworm.
A Georgian style mahogany and satinwood Bonheur de Jour ladies writing table, with shelf, cupboards and drawers to the superstructure with single frieze drawer and raised on tapered legs of square section terminating in brass castors. Height 100.5 cm, width 56 cm, depth 46.5 cm. CONDITION REPORT: The desk is in first class condition with no issues. It's a good colour. There are no significant marks or scratches. There are no repairs to the legs and all castors are original and present.
A nest of three G Plan tables. Widest 56 cm. CONDITION REPORT: The tables are all structurally sound. The top table has water marks to the left and right-hand corners and some surface blemishes. The other two tables are far cleaner having been protected. All table supports are in good order. There are no splits, cracks, or any repairs.
An Edwardian inlaid mahogany dressing table, with rear upstand fitted with three drawers with bow front and five further drawers raised on tapered legs of square section terminating in castors. Width 122 cm, depth 62.5 cm. CONDITION REPORT: This has been a dressing table and is missing the mirror and supports. The super structure is in generally good condition as is the top surface. All drawer fronts are in good condition and the drawers run smoothly. The legs are in good condition and have had no repairs. The side panels are in good order. The backboards are original. There is no evidence of any woodworm.
A late 19th century continental walnut Gothic inspired worktable, with turned column and feet. Height 73 cm, width 42 cm. CONDITION REPORT: The table is structurally sound. The top is flat but does have veneer stress fractures and a small section of the crossbanding missing. There are other surface marks also. The interior is in poor condition as you will see from our image. The frieze is in good condition all round. The front carving below the moulded edge is similar at the sides and back. One piece of the right hand side is detached. We have the two pieces which are inside the box. The faceted column is structurally sound. The turned column beneath and legs are all in good order. The castors are all original and present. We can see no evidence of any woodworm.
A late 19th /early 20th century Indian ebonised hardwood octagonal table, carved and pierced throughout with floral motifs, the top with peacock on folding base. 62 cm wide, 68 cm high. CONDITION REPORT: The table is generally dusty and dirty. The top however is flat and there do not appear to be any losses to the carving. The pierced areas are all present. The edge moulding has slightly sprung in places but is all present and there is no movement. The carved frieze is in good condition all round. The table base is dusty and dirty in the same way as the top but again there do not appear to be any losses to the carving. There are some minor nibbles around the bottoms of the feet but nothing serious.
A George VI silver hip flask, with curved engine turned body by A Wilcox Birmingham 1939, 9 cm high, a silver miniature trophy engraved Alnmouth Ltd - Northumberland Boys Singles Championship, a silver cigarette case together with a silver backed two piece dressing table set and a similar silver mounted comb.
A pair of Chinese porcelain baluster vases, decorated in green, blue and other colours with flowers and modelled with boys climbing to the exterior, converted to electric table lamps and with pierced ebonised wood bases for same. 33 cm high. Needs rewiring. CONDITION REPORT: These lamps need to be required by a qualified electrician prior to use.
