A Victorian ladies ebonised inlaid and gilt mounted writing table, the raised back with a pierced gallery above a shelf, flanked by oval Jasperware mounted cupboards, a leather inset writing surface, a freize with a rectangular Jasperware plaque flanked by drawers, raised on fluted tapering legs, united with an X stretcher centred with a tasselled cushion pad on castors, 106cm wide x 117cm high x 54.5cm deep
An oak gateleg table, German, 17th century, the long drawer operating from opposing friezes, the shaped boarded end supports with pierced heart motifs, with twin shaped profile gates, the base with a moulded platform and pierced central section h.74cm., w.89cm., d.40cm., extended 116cm.
An oak trestle refectory table, the rectangular single plank top on two trestle supports each with four splayed legs, formerly with another plank to the top now detached but present, including 17th century elements h.76cm., w.76cm., length 335cm. An oak trestle refectory table, the massive rectangular single plank top above two trestle supports, one end with four splay legs, the opposing end with three splay legs, including 17th century elements h.76cm., w.76cm., length 302cm. It was long been believed that these tables have been at Sutton Place since its construction. This belief may well have arisen as a result of the initials or inventory mark 'J.W.' which appear on one trestle end. The idea being that these represented John Weston, the builder of Sutton Place.
