A walnut extending dining table with four leaves, of slightly shaped outline, with carved frieze and recessed cabriole legs united by a series of stretchers, with pullout action with single drop leg to either side when the leaves are in place. Width 128 cm, length closed 166 cm, each leaf 36 cm.
A Victorian burr walnut Sutherland table, crossbanded and ebonised and raised on turned supports with downswept legs terminating in castors. Width 91 cm (see illustration). CONDITION REPORT: This table is in extremely good condition. The colour and figuring to the top is very good. There are no losses and no lifting sections of veneer. The supports are all in good order. All legs are in good condition with no repairs or breaks. The castors are original. The table could be used or resold in its current state without the need for any work.
A Victorian mahogany dressing table mirror, with rounded corners and turned and carved supports and lidded compartment to base. Width 62 cm (see illustration). CONDITION REPORT: The mirror frame and base are in first class condition with no issues. The mirror plate itself is serviceable but showing signs of perishing. It is however serviceable.
A George III mahogany dressing table mirror, rectangular, with fretwork gallery beneath and with serpentine base fitted with three drawers and raised on bracket feet. Width 44.5 cm. CONDITION REPORT: This mirror is in generally good original condition. The mirror plates has slight signs of perishing but is serviceable. The rectangular frame surrounding is in generally good order with one very small 1.5 cm section of edge stringing missing at the top centre. Both uprights and fretwork are in good order. The right hand upright is loose in the fixing to the base and there is a minor veneer fracture at this point. The top is in good order as are the drawers. The left hand return bottom moulding is missing. All bracket feet are present, the brass handles are original.
An Art Deco pink and clear glass triple dressing table mirror. Height 67 cm, width open 84 cm. CONDITION REPORT: This is a heavy and substantial mirror. The left and right hand mirrored panels are all in good order with only very minor rubbing to the points on the corners. The centre mirror has some chips. The top arched pink section has a chip to the bottom left hand corner. The third from left pink section also has a chip. These should be visible on the image. The bottom left hand corner of the centre mirror has a small chip. There is some perishing to the centre mirror plate. The bottom pink bevelled section has a loss to the left hand corner and there is some deteriorating of the mirror plate along the bottom edge and also to the right hand corner. The mahogany backing is panelled and in generally good structural order but does have some surface marks and scratches as one would expect. The brass hinges are heavy and substantial and there is no movement.
A Victorian coromandel dressing table box with silver mounted fittings, with London hallmarks for 1860, Silversmiths Pittway Bros. (John and William), with flush front jewellery drawer and side drawer. There is a mirror recessed into the lid with stationery compartment behind. Width 31 cm, depth 23 cm, height 19 cm (see illustration). CONDITION REPORT: The box is in extremely good condition. The coromandel is well figured and the veneers are in good condition all round with no significant fractures and no losses. The top shuts flush. The hinges are in very good order with no damage surrounding. Both drawers spring open as they should. The lock is present but we have no key. It is however unlocked and the lock is not self-locking. All silver topped jars are present and none are inscribed. the large rectangular vessel is in good order with no issues. The smaller rectangular box has one very minor corner chip and several very minor almost insignificant edge nibbles. The two small cylindrical jars are both in good order with no chips. The centre scent bottle has a crack running from the top threaded section all down one side. There is no movement and no loss. The same jar has some very minor edge nibbles. The right hand flanking cylindrical jar is in good order with no issues. The left hand one has several small bottom edge nibbles and two under edge small chips. The left hand scent bottle is complete with stopper and has no issues. The right hand scent bottle also has the stopper. The threaded neck rim has an upper edge chip which is completely covered by the lid. The accessories seem to be original as they fit the apertures. The button hook is slightly too long and the right hand side compartment with the larger scissors has one item missing.
