Head 14 x 9.90mm.Finger size I-I½Condition report: Shank slightly misshaped from being sized down.Marks to the shank.Rhodium worn on the lower half of the shank.Under 10X magnification, tiny marks to the table facet edge, could possibly have been like this when it was cut and polished.

An 18ct white gold alexandrite and diamond cushion-shaped halo cluster ring,with a cushion cut alexandrite, four claw set to the centre. A border of brilliant cut diamonds, grain set to the frame and guards, with matching diamond set shoulders and guards to a plain flat section shank. London 2010. Head 10.50 x 9.20mm, 4.90gCondition report: Very slight facet edge wear to the table and table edge facets under 10x magnification.Light marks to the mount and shank.The alexandrite measures approximately 7.21 x 6.42 x 3.89mm.The alexandrite is slightly included. The inclusions are not very noticeable with the naked eye, but can be seen with naked eye if the gemstone is rocked back and forth under a light source.

Lot 129

An Art Deco diamond and synthetic sapphire plaque ring, c.1930,possibly American. Three graduated emerald cut diamonds, milligrain set in a fingerline position to the centre. Pierced tapered box setting at each side with milligrain set old brilliant cut diamonds, with lines of calibré cut synthetic sapphires to the shoulders, with a border of old brilliant cut diamonds. A shallow gallery, chenier shoulders with hand engraved laurel guards and shoulders to a plain shank. Tested as approximately platinum. Head 18.90 x 15.40mm, 4.98g.Finger size L-M approximately (not round)Condition report: Very slight table facet edge wear to the central three diamonds.Shank not round, has been sized down in the past.Substantial wear to the sapphires under 10x magnification.Marks to the mount.H/I/J range.Colour/ clarity SI1/SI2 P1

Lot 137

A single stone diamond ring,with an old European cut diamond with an estimated weight of approximately 2.00ct, claw set to a shallow rex collet. Four rose cut diamonds set to each shoulder, to a plain shank. 8.40 x 8.60mm, 2.25g. Diamond assessed as approximately:Colour: J/KClarity: P1/P2Finger size J½ - KCondition report: Obvious carbon inclusiong to the centre of the diamond under the table.Some nibbles to the girdle, indented natural and extra facet.Diamond set shoulders very worn - have been let in from another smaller ring - tests as silver.Claw worn - some deficient.Has been restored before. Slight wear to the underbezel.Lower shank very creamy - requires re-rhodium plating.Tested as 9ct white collet, 14ct shank. Shoulders test as silver. By our calculations diamond is approximately 2.02ct - re-polishing or tidying up may bring it under 2.00ct.

Lot 139

An Art Deco peridot and diamond clip brooch, with a later pin and roller catch. An arrowhead-shaped brooch, with two outer rows of old European cut diamonds, all milligrain set, with a central row of graduated trapezoid cut diamonds, all channel set. A paper scroll at each end, milligrain set, with an old European cut diamond, with a circular mixed cut peridot, milligrain set at the end. Tested as approximately platinum and 14ct white gold. 44 x 24.00mm, 7.67gCondition report: Later brooch fitting a roller catch.Very small areas of wear to the table facet edges.Light surface marks to the mount.

An Art Deco topaz and diamond Edna May pendant, c.1925,with a circular mixed cut topaz, milligrain set to a plain collet. A blade edge bar open frame, with three old eight cut diamonds, milligrain set at even intervals. An articulated bar below, set with a central diamond to a matching oval topaz and diamond drop below, to an integral trace chain. Tested as platinum. Numbered 4060. Drop 49mm long, 5.40gCondition report: Some dark patchy areas to the chain. Under 10x magnification, minor table facet edge marks to the topaz.Light surface marks to the mounts.A very pretty apricot colour.Top 6.25mm diameter topaz approximately.Bottom 12.75 x 6.67mm approximately.Length of chain 433mm including the top arc of the centrepiece.

Lot 145

A blue zircon and diamond rectangular cluster ring,with a trap cut blue zircon, four claw set to the centre. A border of eight cut diamonds, all claw set to a white rex gallery with yellow underbezel, white faced shoulders with milligrain setting edge, to a yellow shank. Marked 18CT PLAT, indistinct. Case by 'Resner & Son, 3 Kings Road, Brighton'. Head 11.00 x 10.00mm, 4.23g.Finger size QCondition report: Significant crown facet edge wear to the zircon. Table scratched and marked. Light marks to the mount.

An American single stone citrine ring,with diamond set shoulders, with an emerald cut citrine, four claw set at the corners to a pierced collet. Stepped shoulders, each grain set with two graduated brilliant cut diamonds, to a plain flat section shank. Marked 18K. Maker's mark unidentified. Head 18.00 x 18.80mm, 8.18g.Finger size J½-KCondition report: Some facet edge wear to the citrine, with a small chip to the table facet edge.Marks to the mount.

Lot 187

A composite quartz paste and diamond ring,with an emerald cut composite gemstone, rub set to the centre in a yellow gold collet. Pairs of baguette cut diamonds, rub set in white gold collets to each side, to a yellow gold shank. Tested as approximately 18ct gold. Head 21.1 x 15.15mm, 6.44g.Finger size PCondition report: A chip to the long crown facets to one side of the composite. x2 diamonds chipped.Light surface marks.Light surface marks to the table and poor polish.

Lot 21

A single stone diamond ring,with an old European cut diamond, estimated as approximately 0.85ct, claw set to a white rex collet, yellow underbezel, chenier shoulders and a plain shank. Marked 18ct PLAT. Head 6.4mm, 2.78g.Finger size RCondition report: Slight table facet edge wear consistent with its age.A later mount c1950, approximately.Assessed as approximately: colour J/K range, clarity P1/P2.A bright lively diamond and nothing instantly obvious to the naked eye.Minor bearding - no indented naturals or surface reaching inclusions.

An 18ct yellow and white gold single stone ring,with a brilliant cut diamond, estimated as approximately 1.32ct, eight claw set to a white rex collet, with yellow open shoulders and shank. London 2002. Head 8.10 x 7.90mm, 3.46g.Finger size N½Condition report: The claws are all present, although the shoulder claws are beginning to get a little thin and may require re-tipping in the near future.Marks to the mount.A tiny mark to the edge of the table facet under 10X magnification.

Lot 285

A platinum three stone sapphire and diamond ring, with an oval mixed cut sapphire, claw set at the centre, with a triangular mixed cut diamond at each side, to tapered shoulders and a plain shank. Tested as approximately platinum, 2.91g.Finger size NCondition report: Surface marks/scratches to mount.Solder join visible at base of shank, where ring has previously been sized.Shank slightly thinner at base, possibly due to wear.Claws show signs of having been retipped.Shank possibly a replacement, solder joins visible where shoulders meet shank. Sapphire measures approximately 9.10 x 6.94 x 4.57mm, estimated as approximately 2.30ct.An inclusion towards one end of the table, surface-reaching at one end.

Lot 297

A white gold kunzite and diamond pear-shaped cluster ring,with a pear cut mixed cut kunzite, claw set to a border of brilliant cut and eight cut diamonds. All claw set to a wire basket with knife edge shoulders and a plain shank. Marked 18k. Head 20 x 15.90mm, 6.86g.Finger size OCondition report: A very small area of facet edge wear to the kunzite between the table and the point, only visible under 10X magnification.Claws present, kunzite appears secure.One diamond is at a slight angle, advise this is checked by a setter.Light marks to the mount.

An 18ct white gold single stone aquamarine ring,with tapered baguette cut diamond shoulders. An emerald cut aquamarine, with a stated weight of 2.17ct, four claw set to a plain collet. A tapered baguette cut diamond, end set to each shoulder, to a plain shank. 14.50 x 10.00mm including shoulders, 4.64g.Finger size NCondition report: Under 10x magnification, marks to the table facet edge, towards the corner - not visible to the naked eye. Jewellers unsold stock. Minor light marks only.
