Head 14 x 9.90mm.Finger size I-I½Condition report: Shank slightly misshaped from being sized down.Marks to the shank.Rhodium worn on the lower half of the shank.Under 10X magnification, tiny marks to the table facet edge, could possibly have been like this when it was cut and polished.

The inclusions are not very noticeable with the naked eye, but can be seen with naked eye if the gemstone is rocked back and forth under a light source.

Pierced tapered box setting at each side with milligrain set old brilliant cut diamonds, with lines of calibré cut synthetic sapphires to the shoulders, with a border of old brilliant cut diamonds. A shallow gallery, chenier shoulders with hand engraved laurel guards and shoulders to a plain shank. Tested as approximately platinum. A single stone diamond ring,with an old European cut diamond with an estimated weight of approximately 2.00ct, claw set to a shallow rex collet. Four rose cut diamonds set to each shoulder, to a plain shank. 8.40 x 8.60mm, 2.25g. Diamond assessed as approximately:Colour: J/KClarity: P1/P2Finger size J½ - KCondition report: Obvious carbon inclusiong to the centre of the diamond under the table.Some nibbles to the girdle, indented natural and extra facet.Diamond set shoulders very worn - have been let in from another smaller ring - tests as silver.Claw worn - some deficient.Has been restored before. Slight wear to the underbezel.Lower shank very creamy - requires re-rhodium plating.Tested as 9ct white collet, 14ct shank. Shoulders test as silver. By our calculations diamond is approximately 2.02ct - re-polishing or tidying up may bring it under 2.00ct.

An arrowhead-shaped brooch, with two outer rows of old European cut diamonds, all milligrain set, with a central row of graduated trapezoid cut diamonds, all channel set. A paper scroll at each end, milligrain set, with an old European cut diamond, with a circular mixed cut peridot, milligrain set at the end. Tested as approximately platinum and 14ct white gold. 44 x 24.00mm, 7.67gCondition report: Later brooch fitting a roller catch.Very small areas of wear to the table facet edges.Light surface marks to the mount.
An Art Deco topaz and diamond Edna May pendant, c.1925,with a circular mixed cut topaz, milligrain set to a plain collet. A blade edge bar open frame, with three old eight cut diamonds, milligrain set at even intervals. An articulated bar below, set with a central diamond to a matching oval topaz and diamond drop below, to an integral trace chain. Tested as platinum. Numbered 4060. Drop 49mm long, 5.40gCondition report: Some dark patchy areas to the chain. Under 10x magnification, minor table facet edge marks to the topaz.Light surface marks to the mounts.A very pretty apricot colour.Top 6.25mm diameter topaz approximately.Bottom 12.75 x 6.67mm approximately.Length of chain 433mm including the top arc of the centrepiece.

Case by 'Resner & Son, 3 Kings Road, Brighton'. Head 11.00 x 10.00mm, 4.23g.Finger size QCondition report: Significant crown facet edge wear to the zircon. Table scratched and marked. Light marks to the mount.

Tested as approximately platinum, 2.91g.Finger size NCondition report: Surface marks/scratches to mount.Solder join visible at base of shank, where ring has previously been sized.Shank slightly thinner at base, possibly due to wear.Claws show signs of having been retipped.Shank possibly a replacement, solder joins visible where shoulders meet shank. Sapphire measures approximately 9.10 x 6.94 x 4.57mm, estimated as approximately 2.30ct.An inclusion towards one end of the table, surface-reaching at one end.
