There are some scratches and scuffs to the canteen. The canteen has room for additional pieces which are now lacking.There is some loss and marking to the baize lining and some of the supports are lacking.

There is some wear to the marks, particularly the maker's mark which is rather worn on some. There is overall surface scratching and wear, consistent with age and use. The wear is noticeable as a softening to the engraving. The teaspoons with more obvious wear and thinning to the bowls.
