Victorian figured walnut card table, serpentine foldover top enclosing a tooled leather playing surface, melon fluted baluster column, four carved scrolled legs on brass casters, width 91cm, depth 44cm, height 74cm.Condition report:Various patches of veneer along the serpentine front of the top leaf, with some extending splitting. Colour fading across the top surface. The base half of the inner surface has a large patch of veneer to the bowed front that doesnt match very well. The leather is split along the entire crease. Splitting and feathering to the veneer throughout. Old restorations and repairs through the column, base section and supports. Stability is good.
